Story
My career as a firefighter/paramedic stretched from 1974 to 2000 when were inventing EMS as we went along. These are stories from those years on the street. That place I named so long ago, the other reality that exists just outside most people’s everyday lives. It is a place that seems to exist parallel to the normal workaday existence: yet it is only a car accident or cardiac away for any of us. It manifested itself in brushfires, house fires, shootings, stabbings, hangings, accidents with injuries, cardiacs, codes, drownings, and a thousand other emergencies.

Definitely worth buying.
I’m satisfied with this book. I got it so I can study before the NREMT test. It seems like it’s really well done and the key code is still new so I can take the practice test. The book came in sooner than expected. Once I pass my test I’ll review more, but definatetly it’s a book to have with you and at the station so you can go back and review.

with many of the technical terms so mispronounced, this book sounds like an SNL skit. it's extremely distracting, confusing, and misleading at times. it's surprising that an exam preparation book should have so much faulty information.
