Loved reading this book. It beautifully mixes historical events with fiction and takes you in a wonderful adventure. I fell in love with the characters and the places they visit along the way. The reader- is awesome. I did speed up the pace- and loved listening to this story unfold. I hope to read many more books from this new author- W. D. Nelson. Take a chance on this book. You won’t regret it!

Fun read, full of suspense

This is a fun book to read. Two 18 year olds, Dylan and Bull, venture on a 2 month European backpack trip in 1983 after graduation. Along the way Dylan meets Dr Alex Morana on a ferry which changes the trajectory of their trip . Dylan Stone’s Journal does keep you reading to find out what happens in their unplanned dangerous and deadly trek in search of Irish Crown Jewels. Four decades later, Dylan’s nephew, Floyd, discovers Dylan’s journal. He and Bull’s daughter, Lisa, decide follow the clues to retrace Dylan and Bull’s steps in hopes of solving the mystery as to what really happened forty years ago.
