There is more power and love and truth in one verse than in a thousand other words. So, let us help you memorize God's words in a simple, easy way. We hope you'll love listening in while we chat about what our verse means, why it matters, and how it intersects with our daily lives.

  • Acts 4:12 Deep Dive // God, If You're There, Show Me Who You Are
    Apr 1 2026

"When I started reading the Bible, I prayed, 'God if you're there, show me who you are.' And I guarantee if you pray that prayer, he will show up—specifically in his Word."

    — Natalie Abbott

Today's episode: Listen in as Natalie talks about our deepest need as people and how God has met our every need in Jesus. She helps us see the beauty and wonder of his salvation—walking us through each component with helpful simplicity and biblical support. She tells the story that the Bible tells—that Jesus didn't come to punish us for our sin, but to take our punishment for us, forgiving all who believe in him, adopting us into his family, and releasing us from the power of sin and shame and fear and death. This episode is for everyone, from the skeptic to the seasoned Christian. May it bless you as you consider how great a salvation God offers us in Jesus.

This month's memory verse: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." — Acts 4:12

    Mar 25 2026

  • Say Again? How to Love by Listening // Natalie & Vera
    Mar 18 2026

"This verse is for all people for all time. If you've ever met another person, this verse is for you."

    — Vera Schmitz

Today's episode: On today's episode, Dwell Differently sisters Natalie and Vera are chatting about James 1:19 by diving into what it looks like to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry (Spoiler alert: It's a lot harder than it sounds!). They confess the conversational pitfalls they often fall into like interrupting others or finishing someone's sentence or listening only to speak. And they also offer some practical applications of James 1:19, such as listening for understanding, giving grace to the other person, and saying back what you heard. You'll enjoy hearing their stories, and you'll be encouraged to take this verse to heart as you allow God's Word and his Spirit to work in you and make you a more loving communicator.

This month's memory verse: "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." — James 1:19
