A good audible to give you a survey of the essentials of Dutch grammar. If you need something a little more important, though, I highly recommend "Dutch: A Comprehensive Grammar"The price difference is meaningful, but you get what you pay for.

Dutch course materials

This audible is solid info. Henry Stern knows Dutch. He also knows English as evidenced by his readability. I've bought my share of Dutch course materials - CDs, tapes, references, etc. "Essential Dutch Grammer" is of great value.

Great Dutch for Beginners audible!

Interesting and useful audible! I don't know anything about Dutch and was curious about it. This was the perfect audible for me. It wasn't so much about how to speak Dutch, but why to learn and many of gifts and advice. I thought the chapter on common mistakes was exceptionally useful.

Dutch course and possibly

I would recommend this audible and work before taking a Dutch course and perhaps after you have taken the Dutch course. Listening to the audio a few times would be great, before listening to the work.

how to pronounce Dutch words

This may be fantastic if I had any idea of the pronunciation. If it began with a video or tape enabling the student to hear the words it would make sense. As it is.....it does not work for a student with no previous knowledge of this language.

Most Helpful Way to Learn Dutch

I have tried different approaches to learn Dutch for an upcoming trip to the Netherlands. Some of my relatives do not speak English. I've tried expensive language education software. I came away with a more comprehensive knowledge of the Dutch language with this device than anything else I have tried.

who are traveling in Dutch-speaking countries

I like the simple setup of this audible. There are discussions on a wide variety of topics that might come up for people of any age who are traveling in Dutch-speaking countries each conversation is sold in Dutch first; The authors state that the translation is not word for word as there is not sometimes a precise, similar meaning between the two languages.

make Dutch more available to a broader population. As they have previously said in their other work on the Dutch language: ‘Dutch is spoken people in the Netherlands, people in Belgium, and about another million people living around the world.

Dutch in order to correspond

This is an excellent Dutch grammar audible! It covers all important grammar concepts concisely and efficiently. I only wish that it came with supplemental work so that I could practice the grammar tips that I learned.

Dutch and english

The example sentences are very helpful to get a feel for decision structure. They are given in Dutch and English. There are also some helpful phrases and expressions. I did ask my Dutch colleague about some of the 'mistakes'. None of them were ominous just that I could not get my point across.

beginning Dutch learner

A brief audible that covers the grammar I need as a beginning Dutch learner. It has been helpful for me as I review grammar I have learned on plus more. Comments are clear. It is not audible. For exercises, you will need another source. I am not sure if it is up to date on the current usage given statement date but has been quite useful for me.

Dutch equivalents in phrases

The author is very blunt about this not being a comprehensive text, but it will prove more than sufficient for most of its listening. The audible is short and gives excellent clear examples. Stern is particularly good at comparing English and Dutch equivalents in phrases and trends.

the Dutch dialogs and the series

I highly recommend the Dutch dialogs and the group in general. I find that they can improve the language scholars sort through what they know and don't know. They are well expressed, not too short yet finished in what you might expect for a normal dialog.

Dutch thought he was in love with his best friend until he recognized she was in love with their corresponding best friend and Dutch stepped aside. But when breezes into his life, Dutch realizes what he thought was love for another was nothing related to his feelings for.
