Publisher's Summary

"A few light taps upon the pane made him turn to the window. It had begun to snow again. He watched sleepily the flakes, silver and dark, falling obliquely against the lamplight. The time had come for him to set out on his journey westward. Yes, the newspapers were right: snow was general all over Ireland. It was falling on every part of the dark central plain, on the treeless hills, falling softly upon the Bog of Allen and, farther westward, softly falling into the dark mutinous Shannon waves. It was falling, too, upon every part of the lonely churchyard on the hill where Michael Furey lay buried. It lay thickly drifted on the crooked crosses and headstones, on the spears of the little gate, on the barren thorns. His soul swooned slowly as he heard the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead." (James Joyce, Dubliners)

leaves you wanting more

Liked the stories, good characters with interesting story lines. I really had to pay attention to the details or I missed the point of the story and had to listen twice. Left me wanting more. The only detractor was the reader pronounced "eh" and a short e instead of the proper long A. Apparently he never traveled to Ireland or even Canada.

Awesome Book

I really want to say thank you to one who made me able to listen to this interesting crime mystery story which is not only a mystery but I found lots of drama, suspense and action as well. Sitting in my lawn, had a cup of coffee and enjoyed this audio book. Well done author, hats off to the narrator.

Smart and awesome

What a nice title of this book is. I completely enjoyed this story. It is true that this is a short story but it is enough interesting that the listener will enjoy it from start to end. I just finished this story and feeling like, I've just finished an interesting thriller.

Very Entertaining

What I like the most in this crime story is the conversation between the characters. It is pretty matured writing by a writer. You'll find it awesome I'm sure. The way this writer explain the scenes is awesome as well.

Speechless

I am speechless about the author’s talent that produced this awesome story. The story is compelling and unusual, and the narrator did a great job as the complements are approachable and fulfilling. I cannot recommend this work more highly!

Liked It

This story is very clever -- and so rich in atmosphere and characterization that they don't feel too short! I generally prefer novels to short stories, but this novel is so excellent, it kept me fully engrossed.

You will Love It

This story was incredible, and from 50% on I literally couldn't put the book down. And that was also the point at which I stopped trying to guess who I'd end up the angriest at, or where I'd place the most blame... Mostly because with each new piece of the novel, everything shifted.
