Shocking & Dark - Yet a Page Turner For Sure

Hells Bells this series took a bit of a dark and dismal turn, but I greatly applaud Chase for bravely facing difficult subjects that most authors shy from. Abandonment, addiction, loss, orphans and foster families… in that sense this book could be a bit of a trigger for anyone who’s been in a similar situation. She really does NOT candy coat the struggles of addiction and how it affects everyone around the addict. Not just the short-term struggles; the long-term effects as well. The emotional, the physical… nothing is as rosy as the previous books. I’ll be honest, this book was gut-wrenching and after reading about 3 previous sisters and their history & childhood, you have formed such a bond with them that you really do feel their pain as they struggle to face their most painful childhood memory – the abandonment of their mother. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but from the beginning, this book is FULL of surprises, twists, and turns. None of which you ever see coming. It really is like a soap opera and made me audibly gasp in shock several times throughout the book. If you’re sensitive, keep on truckin’. You’ll be glad you did. It does wrap up the sisters’ stories pretty well, but there are plenty other stories for other friends and minor characters within the town to keep going. Looking forward to what will come next!

Community, Love and Mystery

I absolutely love this series. You can listen to each as a standalone but I recommend you go back to the beginning to get nuisances of all the characters in this series. The narrator emotes well and conveys the intent and emotions of all the characters. This book has mystery, family, a highly interactive community, emotional ups and downs and also humor. A very entertaining and hard to put down journey to listen and become addicted. Can't wait for book 5.

starting to get formulaic but I love these witches

yeah the formula is redundant but I'm fond of these witchy sisters and their friends.

Faith and Trust

Faith Townsend, the youngest of the four Townsend sisters, has seen all three of her older sisters meet and fall in love with their soul mates. Could she be next? It was only once she decided to become a massage therapist that her magic came easily to her and helped her find the kinks and work them out for her clients. Determined to make her spa into the one of her dreams, she focuses on work and barely thinks of the man who disappeared one night six months ago... Until she runs into him at her sister's bookstore, with a lady friend and a little girl in tow.

Vivian and Zoe, the family emergency he needed to take care of six months ago, are now living with Hunter in Keating Hollow. Arriving after the death of her husband, Vivian would like nothing less than to make a family with Hunter, taking the place of his best friend (Vivian's husband) who recently passed away.

Though both Faith and Hunter long for what they could have, trust issues continue to get in between them. Add to that the sudden reappearance of her long-lost mother, Gabriel, and Faith's life has turned upside down. Can communication and understanding rebuild the bonds broken by a lack of trust?

This is my least favorite of the four tomes of the Keating Hollow storyline. I was often left with a feeling of "come on, just communicate for gosh sakes" more than a few times. I did enjoy understanding more about the backstory of their mother's disappearnce years before, and I look forward to seeing where the next book takes me.

Another lovely story

I just love this series, it’s a wonderful mix of fantasy and real life. A world full of magic but also relatable because they face real life problems and over come them. In this book we learn more about the sisters past and we have a few questions answered. Also there is an awesome golf cart race, I now need to start golf cart racing. Lol

Love Deanna Chase

This is the 2nd book of Deanna Chase I have read and I am hooked The book has heart, love & a bit of sadness all rolled into one. I believe life is full of secrets we all keep & hide. She brings them to light. Look forward to the next book.

I love the sisters and their friends. Faith just opened her spa and it's doing pretty well. Hunter comes back into town with more than a few secrets. We find out more about their mother that abandoned the 4 sisters. I love these witches.

Dreams of the Witch

I jyst love this series! I've been binge listening to one after another while I've been under the weather. It's been pure entertainment and I just love all the characters! Gabra Zackman does an outstanding job with the narration too! 😍

Great addition to the series

Keating Hollow sounds like a place I would love to live if it was real Faith and Hunter's story is a wonderful addition to the series with a few twist and turns. the writer makes you believe in the story and you end up invested what is happening and what is going to happen next. So happy that all the sisters have meet their match and have blended families. Very interested as to where to next and can not wait for the next one.
