Jason Prendergast
At some point, every one of us looks up and wonders if we’re climbing the right mountain.
Before he became a nationally recognized PGA Professional, Jason Prendergast lost everything he thought defined him in a previous career at twenty-six. His ascent from a Vermont dairy farm to an award-winning life in golf became a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and belief in his future self, the very courage that kept him climbing.
Set against the backdrop of the game that shaped his life, Dream Driven isn’t about golf; it’s about the lessons learned through it: hope, belief, connection, impact, and the resilience to keep climbing.
From milking cows on a small-town farm to storied clubs and hosting a PGA TOUR event for more than a decade, Jason’s climb was shaped by mentors and life lessons formed long before he first picked up a golf club at nineteen. As he chased his dream of greatness, he discovered that success and greatness aren’t on the same mountain.
Dream Driven is an inspirational memoir about overcoming adversity, facing fear, and personal growth, for anyone searching for purpose, direction, and motivation. This audiobook will help you find meaning in your own climb and remind you that dreams exist to be chased.
©2026 Jason Prendergast (P)2026 Jason PrendergastJason’s ability to push through those obstacles is clearly a key part of his success, and that message resonated with me. While achieving your own goals is important, the book makes an even stronger point—that lifting others up and helping those around you succeed is just as meaningful, if not more so.
A motivating and thoughtful read that stays with you

I am a picky reader. A VERY picky reader. I often have a hard time finishing a personal/self development book.
I love a lot of suspense, twisted plots, effed up pysch thrillers...with a little romance tossed in.
Well, I never knew a memoir could check off a couple of those boxes.
This is a book that my daughters will each have their own copy of. It is actually going to be the book we read together for our summer reading. It's a book that benefits all ages.
It is not a book about golf, it would never hold my interest.
This story is about thriving in your roots and finding perserverence and resilience in the most devestatitng, desolate of times.
It's about finding the purest love in forms of chosen family through profound loss. And about once achieving the highest goal, giving back by serving those who supported the dreams while figuring out the drive.
This book could not have entered my life at a more appropriate time. I am in a place where I want my success to come from helping other people with their wellness path that I, five years ago, would never had thought I'd walk. I'm so thankful to be learning about myself at 41 (yes I actually said it) rather than to never have the opportunity to grow due to lack of self belief.
This 5 Star read will make you cry, will make you laugh right outloud, it will make you want to be better. It will make you realize it is never too late in life to make the changes necessary to reach your gaols.
It's a reminder to believe.
Jason, thank you for providing the world with this book. Please stay Dream Driven. 💖
