The Dragon looked through the window, its lips dripping with drool. She was becoming more its play-thing every day and she did not even know it. Wynne took one last look at the flat where her dreams with her husband, Vaughan, and her small son, Caedmon, were to have come true. "This is not my fault," she told herself. Stiffening her back she took her son's hand and left her husband's home. She did not look back again.

The Dragon spread its wings and flew off in the direction it knew the young woman was taking her son. Fatherlessness that was its goal and it had accomplished it once again. The small boy must never know of the unseen Lord's love. It would make sure of that.

I found the voice work to be excellent. Smooth and fluid, the reader enunciated clearly and used intonation and inflection to bring the text to life. I found the actual story narrative-the stringing together of descriptions and plot points to be hard to follow-but that had mostly to do with how the phrases were put together and the choice of words used to build images.

Great voice work, story a bit hard to follow

interesting premise but poorly executed. poor prose. boring. hard to focus on and follow. characters flat with inorganic interactions, no character growth. world building may have existed but it was not well displayed. lots of pov jumping. climax and rising action were like one of those kid slides that arent even up to your waist, nearly nonexistent and a bit of a let down.
narrator performed ok. not much of a vocal range but had good pacing with clear and concise enunciation.

eh
