Drake and Katherine continue!

Although Drake really ticked me off a few times.. I really liked this book. This book continues their story, and their journey into a D/s relationship. Drake doesn’t know any other way. He needs to be in charge. I liked the end... I’m not telling what happened.. but I liked it.

Jack Calihan does an excellent job with this narration!

Sexy sequel!

This series captivated me from the very beginning and it continues to do so with this book. SE Lund did a great job re-writing this book to be from Drake's POV. I love having the opportunity to see both sides of the story! I cannot wait for the next one to come to audio!

Jack did an amazing job bringing Drake to life and I cannot wait to listen to more from him!

Can't wait for the next one!

A delicious, steamy fun romance. It was interesting watching Drake and Kate overcome all the challenges that they faced together. I loved it when Drake called Kate "Miss Bennett, it made me smile, every time! Kate's best friend needed to get lost in a very big way and Drake's ex-wife has some major issues too. Can't wait for book 3 to be released please hurry Audible! While I'm waiting I'll be listening to Kate's side of the story. I've read FSOG it was okay but IMO this series is so much better. Absolutely credit worthy.

GREAT SERIES!

I am loving this series!. This series continues in Drake's POV. I am still in the process of reading the Unrestrained series which is Kate and Drake's original story. Seriously, If you liked 50 Shades then you'll love this! The narration was superb as always because of the talented Jack Calihan! The author does an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading more (can't wait for Unbound to go to audio)! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Drake really starts to evolve

If you are a fan of this series. Or like people who liked FSOG this is going to hit you right is the sweet spot. Drake really starts to evolve is this story to become a more interesting well rounded character. I still don’t quite connect with or relate to the characters or their struggles. While Drake begins to become more fleshed out and frankly human/ likable his delivery, opinions and inner dialogue are rather elitist. His references and music taste make absolutely no sense to me. My mom was born in the late 60s and I have no nostalgic feel for that time. And my last issue is with the fact that everyone is either republican or socialist for a book that plays on sexuality being on a spectrum apparently politics are not. I tried I really did. I perhaps am not the target demographic. If you already love the series or have interest in listening please continue on. I mean Jack Calihan’s voice is worth the price.

The narrator was enjoyable. I had trouble connecting with the characters but the story is well written.

I never saw that coming!!

This is the second book in the series and they really should be read in order. I love Drake and Kate. In this story, an unexpected twist messes up their plans to go to Africa. But this twist is so telling of Drake and his softer side. I fell hard for Drake in this story because he tugged on my heartstrings. It is still as steamy as ever. Kate submits even more to Drake and their relationship grows even stronger. I enjoy watching the trust grow between them. Watching Kate lose her fears and allow Drake to push her limits, truly displays the struggles Doms and subs must go through. I cannot wait for the next book!

Jack Calihan once again narrates Kate and Drake wonderfully. I love the consistency of one narrator. Mr. Calihan easily narrates both female and male characters. He is able to make those hot scenes, steamy! Mr. Calihan has an easy to listen to voice and reads at the perfect speed. The narration enhanced the experience of this story, leaving me wanting more.

So many obstacles!

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. This author and narrator have created an Audible book well worth listening to. In this continuation of Drake's and Kate's life we find them facing old and new challenges to their relationship. One of these challenges shocks Drake as well as me. Both Drake and Kate must do some serious soul searching to decide if this relationship is what they want. Jack Calihan once again puts so much emotion into these characters. His dom voice is superb as well as his voices for the other characters. He really does have a panty melting dom voice. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Kate is so frustrating, but finally tones it down

Kate frustrated me so much. Why was she so willing to let others (Dawn) dictate the terms of her own happiness. Dawn was a quick sand trap trying to destroy pleasure for others-smh! Maureen had a lot of gall to make the demands she did. Drake should have made the terms more in his favor!!! Kate constantly tested Drake, and she tried to top him from the bottom!! Grrrr.
I liked this couple and look forward to the next book. The narrator's voice and expressions were awesome.
