Publisher's summary

There is nothing in the universe the cursed dragon, Falcyn, hates more than humanity... except Greek humans. In a war he wanted no part of, they systematically destroyed everything he'd ever cared for. Now he waits for the day when evolution will finally rid him of the human vermin.

Medea was born the granddaughter of the Greek god Apollo, and among the first of his people that he cursed to die. But she will not let anyone rule her life. Not even her notorious grandfather. And when Apollo sends a new plague to destroy what remains of her people, she refuses to stand by and watch him take everything she loves from her again.

This time, she knows of a secret weapon that can stop the ancient god and his army of demons. Once and for all. However, said device is in the hands of a dragon who wants nothing to do with politics, the gods, humanity, demons or Apollites. And especially not her. He is the immovable object.

She is the unstoppable force...

When Apollo makes a strategic move that backfires, he forces Falcyn back into play. Now Medea either has the weapon she needs to save her people, or she's unleashed total Armageddon. If she can't find some way to control the dragon before it's too late, Falcyn will be an even worse plague on the world than the one Apollo has set loose. But how can anyone control a demonic dragon whose sole birthright is world annihilation?

Sherrilyn scores, AGAIN!!!

I am very impressed with BOTH the story AND the narrator's performance!! The story matches 2 beings who are equally matched, in so many ways, yet she created just enough differences between them that they balance each other out. I am VERY INTRIGUED with where she will lead the plot next, with the way the story ended, and it will be a bloody battle for all when things gets started in the next installment in the Dark Hunters Series. I have not read the next book, yet, as I type this review, so don't spoil it for me and the other like me!!

As for the narrator, BRAVO!! Holter Graham has done his best performance, yet, in reading Dragonsworn to us!! He has the best information in his tone, at the proper moment. Holter reads the words at the best pace, and has a very dramatic way, in the best ways, about how he reads specific parts of the book, displaying the proper emotions at the proper time, at the proper volume and with the most appropriate tone possible for that moment!!

Wonderful performance, all around!!!!!

I’m not a good girl, I’m a villain too.

A good addition to the book, but I’m starting to get depressed by all the characters having heartbreaking events that happen to them and they are so obsessed with it that it rules their world. Humor does help with this and this book does have some, which is a plus. Also, every character she writes about happens to be the most powerful creature/man in the DH world, it’s like SK tries to top each powerful character she comes up with. There is a lot of information that is given and if you haven’t listened to her earlier books recently it gets a bit confusing. My short-term memory was getting the better of me during this book and I forgot the order of the pantheons and events. I am happy to see that SK didn’t copy and paste a previous story in the book and that it is all original. Overall a good book, not my favorite but a good addition to the series. Holter Graham was awesome as usual.

My favorite Book of all!

I rarely listen to a book more then once but this is my go to book! I have listen multiple times and enjoy as much as the first, even more. Holter Graham is my favorite narrator and it is him that brings the story to life. A great story with a perfect narration!

wickedly good

Medea character remains strong and funny. The dragons continue to confuse me especially since they have nothing to do with dark hunters but keeps the story interesting. I like how she continues to fill in the gaps like how Jared might not be the asshole everyone thinks he is. Also, how she teases us with possible new characters being added - Acheron’s daddy.
