Publisher's summary

Every dragon hoard starts with something...or someone.

Tomas hates scientists, especially since they abused him in such vile ways. And yet, there is something about the doctor that calms his inner beast.

Tomas craves her, even if she's human. A treasure for his collection, but can he convince her to stay in his secret aerie?

Chandra is frightened by the dragon keeping her prisoner in his rocky tower. After what he's been through, who can blame him for the madness within? However, behind the arrogance and anger, she sees a glimmer of goodness, too. Can he open his heart enough to let her in, or will he unleash his fury upon those who wronged him?

Humanity is learning that dragons don't just exist in fairytales, and a prophecy about a golden dragon rising is gaining momentum. A war is brewing, and the dragons must choose sides.

Good story of middle eastern female finds love

A cute adventure of a female doctor finding herself in a world of paranormal conflicts & human world. Love is found but greed & deceit can be involved in any species. This is just one story in a series. This is worth a credit/money..

Giving Up!

I was so about to give up on this series. Too much villain is sometimes too much. Do they, the bad guys, always have to prevail so long? Thank you for finally getting rid of Parker; though the death wasn’t as fitting as I would have imagined/ hoped with dragons on the scene. But oh-well... a good read I’ll keep reading.

When book smart isn’t street smart

“His honor was shiny; his balls very blue.”
Gotta love frenemies romance. Considering both of them have doctorates, they were amazingly dense when it came to reading the room. But, that’s what made the hate flirting so funny. Tomas was such a peacock and overly concerned with being emasculated, and yet he was the perfect foil for Chandra,
an on-the-shelf woman longing for passion. The conspiracy plot may be pretty basic, but the campy romance is strong.

Dragons Galore!!!

I started this series for something to listen to at work and block out the annoying person who sat next to me. I have continued because I love the stories, I frequently laugh out loud and I find Eve to be an engaging writer. Keep me coming!!!

Very disappointing

This heroine was the most annoying in a long time. I wanted to slap some sense into her and say shut up. Her constant... I don't understand... Waaaa Waaaa... Was horrible. I'm used to sharky confident women from this author and the second book was great but this third installment was tiresome. Don't think I'll do anymore in this series. I love Ms Langlais and she has never let me down till now. But honestly am I the only one that thought the narrator was monotonistic? Is that even a word? It's obvious why I can't write but I am a avid reader and this review is hard for me. I had much rather praise than be critical. I hate criticism and can't take it so I'll stop

Struggled with the "heroin"

Chandra seems to be extremely dense, for a person with a doctorate. Don't recommend this book at all.
