Time travel. Mad scientists. Secret societies. Wicked witches. None of these were listed in the job description of the advert one Bratticus L. Magleby saw in the newspaper on his train ride home from university.

After applying for the position of the apprentice to the mysterious Dr. Cerulean - and being hired on the spot, no less - young Mr. Magleby was plunged into a world of science, magic, and all manner of absurdities.

Now, after one year in the doctor's employ, Bratticus is tasked with cleaning up the biggest mess he's ever encountered after one of Cerulean's machines malfunctions and sends the good doctor to another dimension. It's up to Bratt to find out where his mentor went - and how he can send back the nasty little witch that switched places with Cerulean in the process.

The multi-dimensional mishap is just the tip of the iceberg for Bratticus L. Magleby, as the incident sets off a chain of events that could lead to the destruction of everything he knows - or possibly something even worse.

Dr. Cerulean's Guide to Traversing Time & Dimensions offers you, dear listener, a handbook on how to more or less successfully travel across worlds and timelines. But beware: If used incorrectly, this guide could cause much chaos and may, in fact, allow for nightmarish creatures that exist beyond existence to penetrate through the barrier between all that can be defined as real...and all the things that have yet to be defined.

Fun story, but needs audio editing

It's a bit lighter and more silly than I expected, but entertaining nonetheless. Target audience might be middle school age.

The performance was good, but the editing was non-existent. The reader repeated lines often. Dozens of times. Which was distracting.

At one point you hear the reader burp! (Ok to burp, but edit it out!) At another time someone else is picked up talking in the background (both in the last 90 mins).

Fun book!

This book is fun in so many ways. It is a great story with loveable (and hateable) characters. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing this tale to life.
