Chick Bowdrie and Tensleep Mooney, a tough, wily, Wyoming cowhand, are locked in a stalemate with nothing between them but 60 yards and a Winchester.

Then a wounded man, a woman, and two bedraggled kids appear in the distance, and just behind, the large dust cloud that means Apaches. Bowdrie and Mooney could play it safe, stay hidden, and let it happen. Authentic

Listening to the dramatization brought me back to the days of the Lone Ranger on radio where your imagination was responcible for the graphics. I soon forgot that I was listening instead of watching.

Outstanding performance

The dramatization was realistic along with the sound effects. Excellent story line. Almost better than watching the story unfold.

Not well done

The dramatized version was very poorly done and not a recommendation, unlike the book which was good.
