Erin Wade’s best yet. With more twists than a moonshine run in the Kentucky hills, Two Ways to Die is a cliff hanger you’ll think about long after you finish the last chapter. You’ll fall in love with Java Jarvis and Kat Lace as they scorch the chapters with their desire for one another. Another number one best seller for Erin. Java Jarvis is like no heroine you ever met. The kind of woman every girl wants to meet at least once in her lifetime. She’s every woman’s dream and every criminal’s nightmare. One of the hottest lesbian novels of the year.

Story
It's been said that all great literature boils down to one of two stories—a man takes a journey, or a stranger comes to town. While mystery writers have been successfully using both approaches for generations, there's something undeniably alluring in the nature of a stranger: the uninvited guest, the unacquainted neighbor, the fish out of water. In the newest collection of stories by the Mystery Writers of America, each author weaves a fresh tale surrounding the eerie feeling that comes when a stranger enters our midst, featuring stories by prolific mystery writers.

But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Just as good as the first
When Casey gets woken up in the middle of the night by one of her rental tenants she is tall but 20 something girl next-door is playing Drake so loud and it is loud because even case you can hear it through the phone. She attempts to make peace on the phone and in person but it eventually travels down to name calling. When she tells Bruce the guy who owns the duplex he’s very upset and not happy at all he is having financial problems and losing both tenets it’s financially going to ruin him or so he claims. The tenant has a sister Deirdre and when The loud music playing 20 something year old tenant Diane “is found dead“ in her side of the duplex, of course our favorite estate manager Casey can’t help but to investigate. This is the premise for such a good mystery and as always very hilarious. I also love that in the story she is quick to describe the history or the current state of whatever she is visiting going to witnessing it or looking at. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out. I’m not a big fan of cozy mysteries but I absolutely love this one and one other and can’t recommend that’s enough.

More Tenant Trouble
A complaint about an overly loud tenant lands Casey, the long suffering realtor and property manager in danger again in this murder and arson mystery. Throw in a brewing love triangle and you've got a fun to read story that will keep you guessing while you're enjoying the local Florida attractions.
