not Crusie's best

have read this before so my expectations weren't high, however I enjoyed more of it than I did actually reading the book. unfortunately, once the action really got going it became a bit of a snooze fest, which shouldn't be and doesn't happen in Agnes and the Hitman (if anything, it just gets funnier). and it may have been inattention on my part, but I think they skipped my favourite line (it's during one of the sniper's monologues); that's the unfortunate thing about audible, you can't just skim read through to find a particular passage (I'll have to listen for it next time).
As to narration, the female narrator was good, but I just didn't like the male narrator. I think he was aiming for a gruff, "manly" voice, instead it was soft and a little hard to understand sometimes. if you haven't read this book I don't recommend this version, you may struggle with the male narrator's lines. He also made the male characters unlikeable imo (even the "good guys" were a little repellent, grating at best - well except for Gloom, who is impossible not to like).
was OK overall, passed the time while I was doing stuff; but I only bought it cos was on sale and I was feeling like a Crusie (but I do wish they had ones like Anyone But You or Getting Rid Of Bradley)

I like the narrator, Rene as she has improved so much since l first heard her recording.
I wasn’t nuts about narrator Patrick from the Robert Crais first book. I wasn’t nuts about him in this book either. He’s just does not carry off a man’s man at all.

I am so glad this finally came out!! It seems it was lost somewhere but Jenny found it and got it released. This is my very favorite of the Crusie/Mayer books.

Torture

The narration is so bad I couldn't get past the 2nd chapter. I'm so disappointed. The collaboration of these two authors produced one of my favorite books ever, Wild Ride. I had high hopes for this one. Please record it again or re-produce it. How did this ever make it to release? I'll probably buy the book.

2 of my favorite narrators

I enjoy this mixture of humor, action, and romance by Crusie and Mayer. And I REALLY enjoyed this audible edition with Renee Raudman and Patrick Lawlor narrations. I’m looking forward to more collaborations from this group.
