Publisher's summary

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house not a creature was stirring.... But something must be stirring. Something hidden in the shadows. Something which kills the servants of an old Edwardian mansion in the most brutal and macabre manner possible.

Exactly on the chiming of the hour, every hour, as the grandfather clock ticks on towards midnight. Trapped and afraid, the Doctor and Charley are forced to play detective to murders with no motive, where even the victims don't stay dead. Time is running out. And time itself might well be the killer....

Written by: Robert Shearman. Directed by: Barnaby Edwards.

deceiving

Would you consider the audio edition of Doctor Who - The Chimes of Midnight to be better than the print version?

I did not know there was a printed version--so I cannot compare

What was one of the most memorable moments of Doctor Who - The Chimes of Midnight?

This story starts out soft, and kinda funny--but, by the time you reach the end of chapter two and three, you know there is nothing funny and the story shifts--fast---into a very serious, sobering story.

Any additional comments?

This is considered a classic 8th Dr. Who story--and rightly so--it follows the classic story line and shows just how serious or sobering the Dr. and the stories can get in a matter of one or two lines. I have, and always will, love the Classic series over the new series---but when they are view in order--the story of the Dr. is rich, troubling, amusing, heart-breaking.

Intriguing

Loved the story, loved the acting, loved the soundscape, hated what they did with the theme music.

Absolutely loved it

Worst problems of the intro isn’t the best throughout part one and three and two for matter are you hat you have a great story on your hands lol I love the whole like kind of depression sandwiches. The characters go through being like unwanted on lol heated by everybody. It’s so good but not good. It’s just really interesting are also means of the killer so love the doctor and his whole stick. Great I love how we can’t get rid of nuance with the companion Charlie it’s just fantastic
