Publisher's summary

Journey back to Mountainville—that oasis in the West Texas desert for Littles and Bigs—in the newest romance from Amazon Bestselling Author, Amy Cummings!

Norah
Being a Little can sure be tough. Daddies aren’t exactly a dime a dozen. But I won’t give up hope. He’s out there, somewhere. I can picture him in my dreams—sweet, caring, funny, and oh so hot and sexy.
He’s pretty much the opposite of Dr. Duke Mannix.
The doctor is arrogant. Cocky. Full of himself. A stick in the mud. Does this guy know how to have fun? He probably spends his time off work reading medical journals and color coordinating his sock drawer.
The only thing Dr. Duke has in common with the Daddy of my dreams is that hot and sexy part.
As much as I hate to admit it, the good doctor is certainly BOTH of those things.
But he isn’t my Daddy. He can’t be. He’s not who I had pictured.
So why can’t I get him off my mind? Why is he living in my brain?
I’ve got to shake him. My Daddy is out there, waiting on me. I won’t find him if I keep obsessing over Duke Mannix.
I must break free of his spell!

Duke
I live my life full of purpose.
I have two: save lives and be a Daddy.
As far as that first one goes, I’m damn good at what I do. I’m one of the best ER docs in the country. I’m not trying to brag. Just stating the truth. I’m at the top of my field. I have to be. My patients’ lives depend on it.
As for being a Daddy, well, I haven’t been as fortunate with that one. But my Little is out there and now I know who she is.
Sweet Little Norah.
The one I’ve been waiting on. Searching and yearning for.
I’m her Daddy, even if she won’t accept that yet.
And I’m going to spend the rest of my life protecting her, nurturing her, and doing all the things a Daddy does.
It’s what I was created for. It’s who I am.
And I excel at whatever I set my mind to.
I’m the best.
For my patients’ sake.
And for Norah’s.

Doctor Duke is a fast-paced, fun, sexy romance. It can be read as a standalone but is part of the bestselling Lone Star Littles series and serves as a good jumping on point for new readers. It contains consenting adults engaged in Age Play. It features a stern Daddy Dom, a sweet Little, loving discipline, and some ABDL themes. It also features invasive medical exams. If such things offend you, please do not read.
Otherwise, get ready for more fun with the Lone Star Littles as Katie, Stella, Eli, and the gang return for more adventures and excitement. This is the perfect summertime read with water slides, pranks, and fun in the sun. Enjoy, Cuties. I’ll see you in Mountainville!

Another great story by Amy Cummings

I love the Mountainville series, and this is another great story. Sure, there are very predictable outcomes, but they are well written and good stories. The virtual voice is not helping. You need a narrator, I volunteer. Even my novice reader voice would dbe better than the AI.

Narration glitches are offputting.

If there is going to be virtual narration, then the female chapters could at least have a female voice. The whole book has a flat midwestern male voice. There are also glitches that are distracting.

The story, Norah has a friend that lives in Mountainsville, Katie. She lives in San Antonio, works at a coffee shop, and the braggart doctor comes in five days a week to buy coffee. He's way too cocky for her, she thinks; he's not at all the daddy she's imagined. Someone hits her bike and she ends up in the emergency room, with Duke as her doctor. They meet up again in Mountainsville.

Lots of ABDL in this one.
