Learn Docker Best Way

Innovation in today’s fast-paced and interconnected society comes directly from the software. Developers need to be able to provide an intuitive, attractive, and easily accessible experience for their users in order to succeed. Docker’s modern platform can provide that kind of innovation to all of its users with its unique method of packaging up applications into isolated, independent, and contained environments in order to maximize their portability as well as their efficiency. Docker has been referred to as “The modern platform for high-velocity innovation”, and is currently the only independent container platform that can allow you to build, share, and even run any application easily and efficiently from anywhere you choose.

Of course, there is a little bit more to the Docker platform than simply this “innovation”. Docker is a unique platform for a tool that can be called nothing short of a “game-changer”. Such a unique and innovative service like Docker and all of its various products and services will also inherently require a much higher amount of learning and adjustment in order to understand and master when compared to other similar services. There can be a bit of a “learning curve” with new and complicated services like this one, and approaching it can even seem a little bit intimidating at first.

This is why this audiobook exists! This step-by-step guide to learning and mastering Docker is meant to help you do exactly what it says on the cover; learn and master Docker. This incredibly helpful audiobook is meant to serve as your guide in understanding many of the various different products and services that Docker offers to its users, as well as a number of the different features that exist within those products and services and how to use them as effectively as possible in order to maximize the benefits of using this incredibly unique service. Additionally, this audiobook will go over all of the little ins and outs of the Docker platform and its various products and services, including some tips, tricks, and shortcuts to help you even further in this goal.

This audiobook will go over a number of different topics to give you all of the tools necessary to gain a complete understanding and mastery over Docker’s various products and services. These topics include things like the various reasons why you would (and should) choose Docker over any other possibly similar service as well as some short introductions and guides to many of the various products and services that docker offers to its users such as Docker Enterprise and Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows, and the Docker Hub. This audiobook will also go over many of the different features of Docker’s various products and services, as well as how to actually use them at a fundamental level in order to help you to master this incredibly innovative platform for building and running applications as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

An audible version

Very well explained concepts, I struggled with reading up but this course was in an audible version now and this is very practical and easy to follow. I would prefer a bonus section that is Windows specific or Linux specific - where a sample web application is built, debugged locally, deployed via a Jenkins pipeline, and host on a free platform on the cloud.

Fantastic amount of information and quality content. Content is updated and maintained regularly. Thus far the course has helped me gain an understanding of using Docker day-to-day, I go back and relisten a lot of the content every so often as it is the best course I have found on this subject.

Guided with examples

Really good mixture of theory and hands-on. Complex topics are always guided with examples and most of the concepts are shown or put into an exercise. Thumbs up!

All in all docker

If you want to learn all about docker, in a professional very descriptive way, and you're always the guy who asks many questions just to learn even the tiny, but important, details ... then this course is for you.
The instructor doesn't assume that you know anything, he doesn't assume that you shouldn't know something, he doesn't, YEAH you get the point! He's good alright? Get the damn course! It's worth it!

Done a fabulous job

I am extremely mad at myself for going this long without learning Docker. The instructor has done a fabulous job teaching the material. I usually don't leave positive reviews until I finish a course in its entirety, but I feel comfortable giving this course 5 stars while only being about 3/4 of the way through.... You should 100% take this course - if you are a developer you will find yourself pausing a lecture and implementing docker capabilities you just learned onto your own projects and wondering why you waited this long to get hip. Really cool stuff.

Learn Docker Best Way

A very good, thorough introduction to Docker and Docker Compose. The explanations are clear and careful. There are numerous times when Bahl goes out of his way to explain the different ways things can be done, "so that you will know how this works if you see different examples elsewhere." The breadth of the course is wide and the content can be confusing. This course does about as good of a job as anyone can hope for in clearing up the confusion. Lots of excellent hands-on examples and assignments help you to build confidence. This course is, of course, only an introduction, and you should be prepared to pore over many different pages of Docker documentation later on. But you will feel ready and prepared to do that after finishing this.

Excellent course

I already use Docker for development environment, but almost each lecture explain me some things that I didn't heared during my self taught of Docker. Some Sections was totally new to me and make me want to give a try with the corresponding course from the same author.

What to DO

This is a great introduction to Docker. I like that this course is as much "this is what you can do" as it is "this is how to do it."

Impressed

I'm impressed with the "A Step-by-Step Guide to Learn and Master Docker" so far. The level of content feels just right; there is a clear and progressing structure; the material is presented in context; the assignments require attention but are very achievable. Very happy to be investing my time on this course.
