Publisher's Summary
Learn Docker Best Way
Innovation in today’s fast-paced and interconnected society comes directly from the software. Developers need to be able to provide an intuitive, attractive, and easily accessible experience for their users in order to succeed. Docker’s modern platform can provide that kind of innovation to all of its users with its unique method of packaging up applications into isolated, independent, and contained environments in order to maximize their portability as well as their efficiency. Docker has been referred to as “The modern platform for high-velocity innovation”, and is currently the only independent container platform that can allow you to build, share, and even run any application easily and efficiently from anywhere you choose.
Of course, there is a little bit more to the Docker platform than simply this “innovation”. Docker is a unique platform for a tool that can be called nothing short of a “game-changer”. Such a unique and innovative service like Docker and all of its various products and services will also inherently require a much higher amount of learning and adjustment in order to understand and master when compared to other similar services. There can be a bit of a “learning curve” with new and complicated services like this one, and approaching it can even seem a little bit intimidating at first.
This is why this audiobook exists! This step-by-step guide to learning and mastering Docker is meant to help you do exactly what it says on the cover; learn and master Docker. This incredibly helpful audiobook is meant to serve as your guide in understanding many of the various different products and services that Docker offers to its users, as well as a number of the different features that exist within those products and services and how to use them as effectively as possible in order to maximize the benefits of using this incredibly unique service. Additionally, this audiobook will go over all of the little ins and outs of the Docker platform and its various products and services, including some tips, tricks, and shortcuts to help you even further in this goal.
This audiobook will go over a number of different topics to give you all of the tools necessary to gain a complete understanding and mastery over Docker’s various products and services. These topics include things like the various reasons why you would (and should) choose Docker over any other possibly similar service as well as some short introductions and guides to many of the various products and services that docker offers to its users such as Docker Enterprise and Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows, and the Docker Hub. This audiobook will also go over many of the different features of Docker’s various products and services, as well as how to actually use them at a fundamental level in order to help you to master this incredibly innovative platform for building and running applications as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

An audible version
Very well explained concepts, I struggled with reading up but this course was in an audible version now and this is very practical and easy to follow. I would prefer a bonus section that is Windows specific or Linux specific - where a sample web application is built, debugged locally, deployed via a Jenkins pipeline, and host on a free platform on the cloud.

Great info learned
This audiobook is undoubtedly enjoyable to listen to and includes a wealth of Docker-related information. I used to work as a mobile engineer and frequently dealt with Docker. I didn't know much about Docker before taking this course, but it helped me understand the various terminologies.
Brayden discusses a variety of topics in order to provide you with all of the tools you'll need to master Docker's many products and services. These subjects include things like why you should choose Docker over any other possibly similar service, as well as short introductions and instructions to many of the products and services that Docker provides to its users, such as Docker Enterprise and Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows, and the Docker Hub.
This book was a wonderful introduction to Docker for me. It's a short but thorough guide prepared in instructional format to assist us in getting up and running quickly. Working through the examples is all it takes to become a good Docker user, as I was able to simply apply the example scenarios to my actual work environment.
If you're trying to learn Docker, this is a great book to go through. Not only is it well written and easy to understand, but it's also pretty up-to-date on features.
Thank you very much, Brayden!

Genuine eye-opener
As an IT, I had been hearing all the buzz about Docker and thought it would be a good idea for me to sharpen my skills on this new technology. I purchased this book expecting a basic intro to Docker. But I am pleasantly surprised to see a lot of details with examples that worked.
This incredibly helpful book is meant to serve as your guide in understanding many of the various different products and services that Docker offers to its users, as well as a number of the different features that exist within those products and services and how to use them as effectively as possible in order to maximize the benefits of using this incredibly unique service.
In it, you will learn Docker Products and Services, Docker Toolbox, Public Repositories, Private Registries, Linking Containers, and Docker Command, among others. The step-by-step guide to learning and mastering Docker helps you do exactly what it says on the cover; learn and master Docker.
Upon perusing this book, I believe it is better than some of the other Docker books I've encountered. As the Docker ecosystem evolves, I'm sure this book will be updated again. I'd like to see some uni-kernel-based Docker containers. I was overjoyed when I discovered this book. Thank you very much, author. Keep it up!

Refresher guide
If you simply need a refresher, this provides a better understanding and a short reference guide. You'll be able to install Docker, pull pictures, send containers, and design swarm mode by the end of the book, and understand what's going on behind the scenes. The concepts, use cases, and components of a Docker installation are all explained in detail in this book. Each aspect is broken down into sections, which are further subdivided into a quick overview, a deeper dig, and relevant commands. So far, this has been the most valuable resource in helping me understand what Docker is and how to use it.

A big thumbs up!
A great balance of theory and practice. Complex topics are always guided by examples, and the majority of principles are shown or put into practice. The course strikes the ideal balance of theory and practice. The explanations are always clear, and there are many useful tips. A big thumbs up!
