Having listened to the war of art, going pro, and the journey, I find that this short book draws from all of them and organizes the nuggets of wisdom to coach you from the beginning to the end of your project.

No nonsense

This is a simple little gut check of a book. Simple and concise - he lists the challenges to success and them how to beat them. A good, quick read.

Great perspective

No matter what you are trying to accomplish I feel this book can put the adversity you will inevitably face in perspective. I enjoyed it and will definitely give it a second read for more nuggets that I missed my first time through.

Great book, but get the book instead

The first time I read this book I promptly quit my job. About a year later I threw in the towel, but I read this book again and went back to the drawing board. Every time I fail, or lose confidence in what I'm doing, I read it again (thankfully it's a quick read).

That being said, I liked the book more. Probably because I just read certain parts of the book and skip the rest. The performance was okay but I honestly just think the book is way better. Some of the quotes are very powerful and you need to stare at them and let them sink in.
