Sam reminds me of the horses we rescue. Scarred, skittish, and…strong. Beautiful. He’s a bit of a hat-stealer, and, truth be told, I’m a little leery of his chosen profession. The things he does in front of a camera...well, it makes me blush just thinkin' about it. But if that scar on his face is any indication, he could use somebody at his back. I aim to be that person. And yeah, some of my parts get confused by the fact that he’s all delicate and sparkly, but that’s not important. Even if the good hand lotion has somehow made it into the tack room.

Hopper is the best

Loved!
I loved Hopper from the first time he appeared. His story is so heartbreaking yet heart healing as Liam finally sees the man Hopper is and everything he has to offer. So happy this is on audio so I can listen while doing work.

Hopper is EVERYTHING
I love all of the books in these series but Hopper is my very favorite character of all time. Deadly with a heart of gold and a few quirks. Never change Hopper, never change.

HOPPER!!
Hopper has to be my favorite mobster form this series! I am so sorry Luca but I love Hoppers crazy! I wanted him to get his Rico agent since the very beginning and I am so happy that he did. I love Declan Winters voices

How is Hopper so Adorable?!?!?!
I loved this book!! Declan Winter did an amazing job, as usual. Hopper’s multi-faceted being had me laughing and crying for him. You cannot help but love him. I was not disappointed. Bravo.

Hopper needs no headline
So I couldn’t get into this series at first, but Hopper popped up everywhere it feels so I circled back for his back story. Im glad I got the audio version, it really helped bring the story to life and added in some context I would have missed since I didn’t read the earlier books in the series. This book can be read as a stand alone, I didn’t feel like I couldn’t follow along without having heard the previous books
