Futuristic Vamps

What did you like best about Dissension? What did you like least?

I like that the vamps were not portrayed as glamorous beings as they are in most stories

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

would have make it one book ;-)

I have, she is awesome as always

it was. I got very engrossed and was miffed when it ended ... on to book two!!

good series

just finished the 6 books in the series .the story line and characters are well written . however each book is just barely enough pages to be called a novel and not a novella. these should have been put into one maybe 2 books total. then there wouldn't be so much repeat of character introduction and story recaps from the last book leaving a nice size book.

I never really thought of vampires as victims.

In this story humans are cruel masters of enslaved vampires. I felt genuinely horrified by the punishments inflicted on those slaves; tortures only a vampire could survive.

I've read many vampire stories but this one is different from the rest, so this story appealed to me on that level.

If one cared to think about it on a deeper level, things like oppression, racism, prison camps, and genocide might come to mind. Maybe that's just my own skewed thinking after viewing too much current news.

Remarkable!

What an imagination K.A. Salinas has. I have been a vampire fanatic for over 35 years and have never listened to or read anything like this.
The world building & storyline are mind blowing. The characters are kick a$$ and very likeable. The narration is done very well.
I definitely recommend you buy now with one click! I know I'm grabbing the rest of the series in whatever format available.

Vampire Gladiators

“True Blood” mixed with “Spartacus”. Vampires held as slave to fight in gladiator arenas for the pleasure of their human masters. What else can you ask for!

The main character development is sound for the length of the story, and decent supporting characters. Standard story line but the twist adds enjoyment. Looking forward to book 2.
