Stitch’s summer gets interesting when his family goes on vacation – to a mosquito sanctuary! Based on the Disney Agent Stitch novels, but equally enjoyable on its own, this Audible Original follows Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley in another wacky, heartfelt, out-of-this-world adventure.

When Pleakley learns of a mosquito sanctuary in West Virginia, he convinces his ‘ohana to embark on a road trip so he can continue his audio-journal study into Earth’s most important species—and prove to Jumba that he is a real scientist. But they quickly realize that everything is not as it seems. Confronted with suspicious scientists, rumors of a mosquito cryptid terrorizing their campsite, and a new friend in need, it will take all of their investigative skills—and a little hypnotism—to get to the bottom of this Mansquito mystery.

What a cute and nostalgic story! Even though I'm an adult listening to this, I enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I wish Stitch had a more of a central role in this story. The title is Agent Stitch but his character felt more like a background player than a central character.

Cute and nostalgic

I never thought of pleacly or stitch be detectives but there’s a first for everything I just stitch was the main character instead of a side character and he was as cute and hilarious as ever

Love the idea of Stitch hunting for Cryptids including other aliens

I wish Stitch would have been more front and center, but this was a fun adventure perfect for a long drive. The voice acting was great and the story was a good mix of silly and exciting. I would love more of these!

A fun adventure

The story was fine, and I like the fact that they delve into some cryptid territory, but despite the fact that stitch is supposed to be the main character, he’s featured very very little in it. I understand the device of using Pleakley as the constant narrator, but it gets tedious.

Fun but too long

Instead of writing/performimg an actual radio play it is a character narrating what is happening around them. "Lilo is picking up a bucket and walking with it." and on and on and on. At some point you need to switch into 1st person. The jokes are forced and just not that funny. At one point a character who has been living in the largest banana producing state in the United States for a while supposedly has never seen a banana and to make this even less realistic, they're having this banana at a gas station rest stop! All of that ridiculous setup so they can eat the banana without peeling it. Instead of us just hearing them struggle and another character pointing out the mistake, we hear them struggle and then the character has to narrate what's happening and then they narrate that somebody told them the mistake; a not that funny joke made even worse by poor setup and framing. Myself and my son were very disappointed. We listen to audiobooks and radio plays all the time, but this one we didn't even bother to finish.

Excruciatingly boring
