Put things into prospective

I happened to start this book about a week before Jimmy Kimmle was silenced. I continued to listen because AJs voice is comforting. As cancled subscriptions rose and stocks plummeted, I stumbled upon the Lobbying segment. It calmed my rage for a moment.

Deeply Insightful and Moving

This book was so deeply insightful and moving. The audiobook was smooth and easy to listen to. I loved every second of it.

Love love love

At the moment she was talking about the closet full of Disney stuff at the beginning, I laughed thinking of my own Disney stash. And I knew I was going to love the book. I was not disappointed.

As a long time follower of DFB and AE, and lifetime Disney fan, this was wonderful. If you are on the fence about if you are a Disney adult this book is for you! It’s very informative on all sides of being a Disney adult. I’m a proud Gen X Disney Adult ♥️

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'm a Disney Adult, but this book certainly helped me to understand what one is and from multiple perspectives, not just the author's. Lots of info about Disney and the parks also. Since I'm a fan of AJ's I had high expectations and this book exceeded them for sure!

Everything my heart needed

I wasn’t really sure what I was going to get from this book. I’ve been a fan of DFB for over half a decade after researching before my first trip ever in my early 30s. Soon thereafter I became a full fledged Disney adult and go to the parks at least once a year. This book made me feel seen and validated, but wasn’t shy of discussing the “cringe”parts of this subculture. I appreciated also that there was no hiding from tough subjects like disability access and queer culture at Disney. Thank you, AJ, for your words and wisdom!!

AJ is my voice of Disney

As long as I’ve been going to Disney . AJ has been the voice behind the food and news updates I’ve looked for. Now that she put this book out about a culture that I’ve falling completely into. I knew I needed to get it, and like everything else it didn’t disappoint . There are so many things in the story’s that are told in this book that are relatable. As a relatively new Disney adult I do have people ask why a Disney trip again, and I just say it makes me happy. This book put me in that happy place many states away. It definitely worth a listen.
