Publisher's summary

This book almost didn’t see the light of day as government officials tried to bar its publication.

The inside story of the real President Trump, by his former attorney and personal advisor - the man who helped get him into the oval office

Once Donald Trump’s fiercest surrogate, closest confidant, and staunchest defender, Michael Cohen knows where the skeletons are buried.

This is the most devastating business and political horror story of the century. As Trump’s lawyer and “fixer”, Cohen not only witnessed firsthand but was also an active participant in the inner workings of Trump’s business empire, political campaign, and presidential administration.

This is a story that you have not read in newspapers, or on social media, or watched on television. These are accounts that only someone who worked for Trump around the clock for over a decade - not a few months or even a couple of years - could know. Cohen describes Trump’s racist rants against President Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, and Black and Hispanic people in general, as well as the cruelty, humiliation, and abuse he leveled at family and staff. Whether he’s exposing the fact that Trump engaged in tax fraud by inflating his wealth or electronic fraud by rigging an online survey, or outing Trump’s Neanderthal views towards women or his hush-money payments to clandestine lovers, Cohen pulls no punches.

He shows Trump’s relentless willingness to lie, exaggerate, mislead, or manipulate. Trump emerges as a man without a soul - a man who courts evangelicals and then trashes them, panders to the common man, but then rips off small business owners, a con man who will do or say absolutely anything to win, regardless of the cost to his family, his associates, or his country.

At the heart of Disloyal, we see how Cohen came under the spell of his charismatic "Boss" and, as a result, lost all sense of his moral compass.

The real "real" Donald Trump who permeates this audiobook - the racist, sexist, homophobic, lying, cheating president - will be discussed, written about, and analyzed for years to come.

Amazing Story

Blew right through this. Our president is such a crook. How can anyone still support this bloated, syphilitic, baked potato of a criminal? How is Donald not in prison for several years? Pray for this country.

Disloyal:

I got the feeling Mr. Cohen is remorseful. Remorse is one thing but for the actions he was involved with he should feel so. At least he took responsibility for his part in the creation of the worst President we've ever had in our history. If only Trump remains historically the worst President in our history, that will be a good thing. I hope he doesn't get a second term because I don't believe a democratic republic like ours can survive another four more Trump years. Thank you for sharing a needed warning to us and making it apparent how important voting is, our voices really do matter!

Engaging, well-written/edited and shocking

Wow! Wow! Wow! Cohen “knows where all the bodies are,” as they say. He has nothing left to lose, and I believed every word in this book. Every story of how Trump manipulates, breaks the law, cons people, etc. He takes ownership of his dirty deeds and give the reader a behind the scenes of how those dirty deeds came together.

This book should be read by every American before heading to the polls.

Highly recommend this book.

Unexpected

I didn't think this book would make me like Cohen....but it does. I appreciate the courage it took to tell the truth. If only others would.

Captivating story, beyond excellence

Well written and honest in my opinion. I’m down for the Netflix series if considered.

The definitive work on Trump. Well worth a listen

What it's like to live with Trump day in and day out. Horrifying and yet captivating; much like the man himself.

Fascinating Read

This was an amazing book since it was written by a man with first hand knowledge of the inner workings of the Trump organization, the family, and most of all, Mr. Trump himself. It was a real eye opener, and it shows what a dangerous man DJT really is. I hope a lot of people read this book and stop blindly following and doing the bidding of this completely amoral man, Donald Trump.

Excellent excellent excellent

Appreciated Michael Cohen’s honesty even when it (most of it) showed him in his own slimy glory. I’m scared to think of what additional horrible things he would have happily contributed to if he wasn’t prosecuted, but his firsthand account of exactly what he saw, what, why, and how he did it, are all things that I believe can help us do better in the future. We simply cannot allow our country and our democratic republic to be torn apart, and this is a step towards redemption.

Necessary Reading.

Alarming. Riveting. Cohen lays bare the psychopath in the White House. If you want to better understand this worthless fool, read this one.and Mary Trump's book, "Too Much and Never Enough". They will tell you all you need to know. about this pathetic loser who conned his way into the presidency.
