If you ever wondered how we bury ourselves with bad decisions, this book details how tough it is to make good decisions when life hits you hard and addiction arrives on the scene. This is also an amazing true tale of how God is always present to us and invites us in the most unusual and difficult circumstances... His love never quits, sometimes, OK most of the time, we just don't believe that. David Mike, thank you for sharing your journey, for being a great writer and inspiring myself, and no doubt, SO many others!! Highly recommend!

A powerful and compelling story of dishonor and redemption.

I downloaded Dishonor the day I found out it was available on Audible. Having no military background myself I wasn’t sure what to expect from this audiobook. I can confidently say that out of over 1000 audiobooks this has to be among one of my favorites. I could not stop listening. Both the narrator and the author give a great performance that takes you a long an emotional roller coaster ride of David Mike’s journey in the most spectacular way. A vulnerable and heartfelt telling of what could’ve been a disaster turned uplifting true story. I’ll definitely be listening to this again.

It provides a glimpse into a dark world often sensationalized and rarely portrayed accurately. The story shows it is less important where you start and more important how you choose to finish. It is proof of the importance of never giving up on anyone, even yourself, when bad choices and consequences catch up. Being a military veteran myself, I am glad David wrote this book to share his deeply personal journey. Dishonor shows that no matter what you have been through, what you are going through, or what you will go through - there is HOPE.

As a military chaplain, I wish for all of my Soldiers and our service-members to read this amazing life-story of a man who made mistakes while serving in the Army and, yet, whom God showed how much he was and is loved. David Mike inspires us all with a fascinating journey which culminates with the best outcome that only God can bring out.
