Derinkuyu is a location built over a mystery. Under that city are hundreds of underground chambers, big and small. It held the interest of archaeologists in its discovery in 1963 for a short time. No treasure, no artifacts, nothing much of interest. But not all of the scientific community is willing to write it off as a hideaway for Christians in a Muslim world.
