The series continues - fun, sexy listen. Joe & Erin entertain you as always - and suck you right into this story! Will borrow again.

Female narration was a bit hard to take.

Erin Mallon usually doesn't bother me, but this one was getting on my nerves. The extra enunciation...no need. "Loriiiii...." ugh.

The story was sweet, but still a bit annoying. Lori with her inner diatribe, but then caving in 2.3 seconds. Why? Need to find stories where the women are a bit stronger. Over these wimpy women.

A fun and sexy story !

I binged this audio book while assembling a project as I always tend multi-task. The plot appealed to me and I’ve enjoyed the author’s previous books. What I didn’t expect was a story that at times sucked me in so far that I literally stopped what I was doing and just sat there to listen!

Lori has an uncharacteristic and fabulously hot one night stand with a sexy stranger and thinks that’s the end of it. Until months later when he enters her life again— but this time as her boss at a new internship. It turns out that neither person ever really forgot about the other.

The trope is common enough: one-night stand turns into a forbidden boss-employee affair. Yet, the way this story unfolded was addicting. The narration absolutely kept it interesting with two of my favorite narrators: Joe Arden & Erin Mallon. The plot twists and secondary characters and the simmering chemistry between the main couple kept my interest to the very satisfying end.

I love a good romance story... I was up all night listening 👂🏾 to this book... I love when a man comes for a women. I recommend listening to this enjoyable book.

Reece and Cat’s friends get together

In the continuation of this series a promising law student friend becomes involved with Reece’s fries and new partner. The story dragged a bit as Lori, the student, resists her feelings for lawyer Cole, due to her daddy issues, her pride, and her insecurity in her self worth. Good thing for her that Cole is so in-love that he waits her out while they work on the obligatory trial together. There is an additional sequel to their story. The narration is good but would be great if it was a duet performance.

Ugh! Talk About Insecure!

The overall plot was was engaging but Lori’s a very insecure witch that I have a hard time believing and Alfa male like Cole would like.
