Action-Packed Mythology mixed with fantasy

Xlina Dar’Karrow is faced with many obstacles in this book, all of which could doom her to an eternity of guilt if she fails to save Amber from the evil hands of Demon Ertigan. Xlina’s journey is complicated and made so, even more, when she is forced into judgment by the Counsel of Magic. The stars have aligned with heaven and hell plotting her failure and being complicit with deceiving her. Isolated and afraid, Xlina shows she is far from powerless. Xlina has just begun to fight.
The author, Reed Logan Westgate continues the story of Xlina, a strong female meeting all adversity head-on. The plot is complex with a diverse set of plot twists that make the story even more interesting. This story requires crystal clear details and rich descriptions which Westgate provides. The dialog is realistic and vibrant. Each character is well-developed and striking.

The narrator, Zach NeSmith delivers a strong performance maintaining unique voices, and speaking clearly. His performance is flawless as he draws the audience in with his rich voice.

This is a great series if you are a mythology and fantasy fan, this is the series for you. I enjoy this series and look forward to more.
