Discover the town where love is in the air....

Meet the couples of Queensbay in Dinner for Two.

Sean and Darby love food, but is their relationship a recipe for disaster, or a chance to make kitchen magic?

Sean Callahan was a hotshot big-city chef whose high-handed ways got him into trouble one too many times. Now he's in a small town hoping for another shot at the big leagues.

Darby Reese is a big-city lawyer who can bake like an angel. Unfortunately, a life lived according to the law has left her burned out. So when the chance comes to run her family's deli in the small town of Queensbay, Darby's happy to take it.

But when Sean, the former chef du jour, walks into her kitchen, she's definitely not prepared for sparks to fly. Will the two of them be able to find the recipe for happily ever after?

Easy listening

Drea Stein wrote a sweet, easy to read book. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon with a lighthearted romance. Tiffany Williams did a really good job with the narration so that I didn't get bored listening to it. She has a very pleasant voice that is easy to listen to. In my opinion, both author and narrator did a really good job!
I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A narrator can make or break the story.

This narrator is one I hope never to listen to again. I felt the storyline was good and kept pressing on. Took me 3 days.

A nice light romance

Dinner for Two is the sweet story between Darby, a lawyer back home to run the family deli, and Sean, a big name chef who after getting into trouble at his restaurant in the big city comes to a small town to reinvent himself and start on a new path.

This is your typical bad boy meets good girl story. In this case, Darby is going behind her father's back to make improvements in the family business and Sean is trying to get back on track and go back to being the good chef that he is. What first starts as a summer fling soon becomes more serious. Can Darby and Sean make this work? Will Sean stay in small Queensbay after getting some positive restaurant reviews?

Ms. Williams does a wonderful job narrating this book. Romance is her forte. She is able to give each character their own voice and her pacing allows the book to flow. I look forward to listening to more of her work.

I would recommend this book to my friends who enjoy a sweet romance. There are a few steamy scenes in this book so I would say it is for readers 17+

Dumb Female Lead

Right from the beginning, Darby, seems unless and I didn't want to listen pass chapter 1. Someone barges into your kitchen and all you can think is how gorgeous he is instead being angry really. Does this author think women are that pathetic?
