Publisher's Summary

Have you been struggling with technological addiction? Wondering why you can't put down your phone? Some days, does it seem like you are not in control of your own digital choices? The simple answer is this: You aren't. And there is absolutely no way you will be without understanding the thought processes that go into making most modern technological innovations that help keep you linked in.

This book on digital minimalism directly focuses on the advents on modern technology and why it has become so addictive.

Drawing examples and evidence from technological gurus, psychological experiments, and ancient observations of human nature, it will show just how decidedly pernicious technology can be if not handled properly.

This book also explains digital minimalism and how to live a life of simplicity in a world of hyper modernism.

Digital minimalism is often unappreciated, very scorned and repudiated, but against all the odds, it is a quietly emerging culture concerning the philosophy and use of technology. Dozens of individuals increasingly disenchanted with the hyper intensive and time-consuming nature of most modern devices are starting to understand that sometimes limitations are truly the best way to enjoy the freedom and that less is actually more.

As the first wave of anti-smokers in the early ages, digital minimalists are folks rejecting the sweet but ultimately harmful technological nicotine Silicon Valley companies amongst others are peddling. Minimalism is not strange to humans. In this book, you shall see examples of how poignant and successful philosophers emulated such practices in ages past and how to apply their wisdom in this modern world.

This book explains the complete essentials surrounding the minimalist lifestyle.

You shall also discover practical tips and useful ways to fully apply the core philosophies of digital minimalism to your daily life. And how to live your digital life of less, knowing it is fully and truthfully enriching you with more opportunities than technological dependence ever will.

Technology is the modern society's equivalent of the caveman discovery of fire. A very useful but potentially very dangerous tool. Fire, as we know, has advanced mankind but also ruined whole cities, countries, and even civilizations.

Modern society, instead of recognizing its implicit danger, has let it run wild without recourse to how it fundamentally affects our basic brain mentality.

Digital minimalism is a philosophy that allows you to use this new flame productively while making sure you don't get burned. If you’re searching for a glimmer of peace and quiet in your life, then this book is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Grab your copy today!

I listen to this audiobook

I thought it was cool how the authors would add in their listen to go to their help promote their work so they can largely influence more people. It had all seemed too familiar to be listening about. I would've preferred to see their perspective as to what is a subculture meant to them.

Very motivating and encouraging

It's not all about us and our storehouses. Even if I don't go to some of the extremes of minimalism that some might, I still love the concept of not letting my possessions rule me and my family's lives.

It’s such a relaxing approach to life!

If you want to start a life of simplicity, you need to get this book today. This has honestly made such a significant impact on me. I now realize the value of life which we only live to collect stuff. We don’t even make use of most of it and it just gets passed on to the next generation. The idea of minimalism means living for yourself and spending on the items that you really need. It’s such a relaxing approach to life!

Well worth listening

This point of view is very well worth listening to and practicing. Encourages looking at your budget from a totally different perspective. I really gained a lot from listening to it. Thinking about what I'm spending my money on and why not just how much can I cut. A great audiobook with realistic tips for not just saving money, but for also clearing up time to enjoy the important things in life.
