Great story

This was my first time listening to a story by C.J & I was not disappointed!
If you like dark fantasy, then this is 100% for you. I thought I’ve listened to dark before but nothing has compared to this.
Great adventure!

Pleasantly surprised!

Being that this is not my normal genre, I totally enjoyed this book. I especially loved the characters, Sky and his pet creature Kay, however I wish Kay wasn’t killed and I hope they can bring her back with some kind of weird power. And I just loved Gracie! This book and the author may have lured me over to the dark side!! Looking forward to Book 2!!

A unique listen

The only thing that could have made this dark storyline more intriguing was the dual narration, and both the male and female actors crushed this. If i closed my eyes i could picture actors on stage or on screen performing. A must read.

An epic dark fantasy, captivating, and brilliant.

This book is a series of fragmented stories set in a dystopian world. An epic dark fantasy from the ingenious mind of the author that had me emotionally consumed from beginning to end.
This Audiobook is an experience and the narrators bring it to life with their amazing voices.
I highly recommend this book. It is not for the faint of heart or the Squeamish. It is not the type of Fantasy i am used to but is kick ass. can't wait to see how the story continues in book 2.

Incredible Debut

If I didn’t know already and you had told me this was his debut, I’d call you a liar! The story is incredible and you can tell that he put a lot of effort into it. The dual narration is PHENOMENAL! Some of the best narration I’ve ever heard.

Mashed together

I struggled through this book. I won the audio and paperback in a giveaway so I felt obligated to finish. There were cool concepts but by the end there was so much happening. The tone was all over the place. I felt all the characters were one dimensional.
