Imagine yourself having a tough conversation with your boss that you've been putting off for months...now imagine being in total control of the situation. You are in control of your emotions (even when he or she isn't) and you are easily swaying your boss to your side of the argument. And now imagine that this daydream is a reality.
This audiobook will make you the master of your own destiny. It will allow you to get through all the difficult conversations in your life easily and effortlessly. The techniques in this audiobook are proven to work and, once learned, can never be forgotten.
Here are just a few of things you will learn:
- How identifying the 800lb gorilla in the room is a good thing
- The importance of staying in control of your emotions
- Why you should point out the holes in your own argument
- How to avoid "imposed fear"
- How to show empathy even when you dislike the other person
- Tips for noticing when a person is becoming resistant to your argument
- The dangers of making assumptions
- How to be assertive without appearing pushy
Stop being a victim and start controlling your own destiny. Turn those arguments into victories and take control of your life for the first time.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The narration was very bland and flat. The information was very pedestrian. It was very simplistic with no real insights that were helpful to me or anyone who has read anything like this before or attended a course. I've listened to about twenty books this year including 2 other personal interaction books right before this one. This book was the least interesting of all, but luckily very short. I advise against it unless this is your very first experience with conflict management books.mundane and uninspired
