Publisher's Summary

One day before the wedding of my dreams, and I'm stuck in a city that is no longer my home. Alone. Heartbroken. Lost.

Could the past few years really mean so little to James? I'd do anything to protect him. He's my whole future. My whole life. I don't know if there's a me without him.

But there's only 24 hours until our wedding. There's no time to repair the damage. And even if we could, Isabella is still out there plotting. The world is still against us.

I was just a student. And he was my professor. We were never meant to be forever. I thought it was everlasting love, but it was doomed from the very start.

Painful

Really got tired of Penny’s whining and stupidity. Not sure if it were the fault of the writer or the narrator but I found myself having a verbal conversation with Penny as my irritation grew. Don’t think she could hold the attention very long of a James-like type.

Great turns

Though I really enjoyed this series, Penny- the main female character often came off as weak, and simpering with low self esteem. It got exhausting. There was enough comedy in it to keep me laughing out loud with other scenes that made me hold my breath. Judge for yourself

Glad I stuck with it.

So, when I first started the series I really had a hard time with it. Penny drove me crazy, and James wasn’t too likable either. I actually liked Tyler and Brendan better, but when they brought in the characters of Mason, Matt, Rob, and the girls, I started to like it much better. The camaraderie between the boys was so nice. I really enjoyed Rob and almost wanted to strangle the author’s neck when I found out the direction she was taking the story. Without giving too much away, I ended up liking the series. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t any epilogue, but then I found out there was another book. Hopefully, I will hear what happened to the other characters too.

I also ended up really liking Meghan’s performance.

😍

Be prepared to ride a wild ride on the emotional rollercoaster, this book will have you all over the place. Definitely have a box of tissues nearby, you'll certainly need them for both the happy and sad tears. The ending is well worth it though.
