Wow

This story is very well written and the plot is messed up. Definitely recommend this book. I was intrigued from the very beginning to the end. The outcome was expected but when it came towards the end I had my doubts until it was confirmed. Great story! Narrator as always does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. Love Rodney!!!

Dark & Twisted

This is not your typical romance. It is dark and twisted and filled with secrets, lies, and obsession. The storyline is fast paced and not for the faint of heart as some scenes may contain triggers for some. Adrien and Lilith's unusual connection will have you second guessing yourself until the very end.

Devious Heart

Oh man, is this book twisted! I knew how it would end so there wasn’t any kind of surprises for me but I did enjoy the ride and seeing it unfold. Narration was done extremely well.

Amazing!

Crimson Syn keeps writing exciting sexy stories. Adrien was a man who knew he had a dark soul. Lilith had a hidden darkness that she had no idea she possessed. I hated for it to end and I loved every minute of it!
Rodney Falcon has a talent to narrate hot sexy stories. He really can bring the characters to life and embrace my mind. Hot dang! ❤️

Dark, Devious, Triggering, Twisted and Amazing!

Lilith’s world was destroyed in one evening. Ever since that night she has kept a low profile, living as a shadow of her former self. Aiden rides the same bus home as Lilith and he is extremely attracted to her. One night he accidentally leaves his phone on the bus. When Lilith attempts to return it to him, one thing leads to another and finds himself offering her a job. That is the beginning of their story. Can these two seize the opportunity and find the courage to go after the love of a lifetime? Devious Heart features a dark, twisted, well drawn plot with off the charts character development. Word to the wise, while this story is a romance, it is a very, very dark, oh so dark romance dealing with difficult subject matter that could be extremely triggering. It is also hot as hades with excellent narration. I loved it!

Awesome story!

I found this story to be entertaining. I definitely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I definitely recommend this audiobook.
The author does a great job with the storylines she writes. Her stories are always entertaining and intriguing.
Rodney Falcon does a fantastic job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters. He also has a deep sexy voice which I love listening to.

Probably not the book you were looking for.

My previous review was deleted, because Audible's app for the computer SUCKS, so I'll boil it down to this: people will hate this book because it isn't what they wanted it to be, but it was a good story. This goes past antihero territory and into straight-up villainhood, but it had good narration and kept me guessing about what was really going on. I second-guessed myself many times, as the reader was led to do. Unfortunately, with a novel this short, there wasn't enough time to grow any sort of attachment with these characters that made me feel much. This isn't really a book that will provide you with some reading pertaining to some dark kinks and such. I mean, it has those things to some degree, but it gets all too real immediately. I recommend reading or listening before making judgment calls, and then coming to your own conclusions about it. There's a happy ending, but since the ends never justify those means, it's a bittersweet one at best and probably fostered a lot of resentment about the characters involved. It was an interesting one, though.

Definitely a triggered subject matter.

The book over all was good. I struggled with the amount of details due to I found it really unnecessary and I felt the whole plot of the story could have been much better if it did not go into such details as it did. It also would have been better if a woman’s narrator was used for the female view. Though the story is sick and twisted at the end it came together and made a lot of since as to why the male character exploited the female character as he did. I don’t agree with it, but the end gave you an understanding of why. All in all it was good.

Trigger Warning

If you have triggers, this isn’t for you. I wouldn’t say I have triggers, just preferences. I figured this story out from the beginning, but it was nice to hear how the details played out. I thought this would be a sort of come-back story about a girl who overcame something traumatic. Nope. It was a short listen, but there really wasn’t much substance to it. Both the male and female characters were voiced by the same person, but there wasn’t even a change in pitch. I had to keep reminding myself which character the chapter was focusing on. Again, I appreciate that it was a quick listen but you’ll definitely need to watch those triggers.
