The Sweetest Romance

This is such a sweet romance between two very unlikely characters, but no spoilers here. Well worth the credit.

Too short but cute

Too short for a full credit or $! Good story but didn’t realize it was so short until after I bought it.

I love Elise!

This is a sweet yet a little nuts kind of story. Elise is a recluse who hides in the shadows so she doesn’t get caught up in carrying for anyone. Things change though by an unexpected encounter. She finds out just how much she needs the man who fell at her feet.

wish it were longer

loved these two characters but I would've loved a much longer story helping to flesh out their relationship.

Elsie and Blake’s story and how they came together.
Cute little quickie with some interesting new twists to the world of Cat And Bones.

Enjoyed this immensely.

The story was great and the performance for this was superb. It helps that Bones does not make an appearance in this story, so I can give it full marks.

Pay it Forward

For a short story,it was well rounded and pretty good.I’m not much of a Jenine Frost fan but this was one of her better books.Liked the way the demon interacted with the Vampires and the connection between Elise and Blake.A whirlwind romance.

Cute short story

The story takes place in the Night Huntress World with Bones, his co-ruler, & Cat acting as support characters. This, however is Elise & Blake's love story. The story will pull on your heart strings and have you rooting for the couple. A nice edition to the series. Ms. Gilbert did a fantastic job narrating.

great story

I absolutely love the Vampire Huntress series. but one thing about this story, after reading others in the series....when she drank from his tainted blood, she should have been drugged. his blood is tainted....Red Dragon.

Lovely nightmare

Where does Devil to Pay rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love this short story. The premises of the book is intriguing and I really like the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Blake and Elise, both works perfectly with each other.

What about Tavia Gilbert’s performance did you like?

I like how she envelopes you into the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

***Spoiler Alert*** at the end when Elise is trying to bring back Blake and fear he's not going to come back.
