Good witches meet evil!

This story begins with 3 sisters who have only begun to realize they are witches. Their recently deceased mother left them a book along with other strange occurrences and powers they didn't know they have emerge. In walks a fourth sister who is also a witch. The story reminds me a little of the TV show Charmed.
There's plenty of magic, action and intrigue to keep my mind interested and listening. The author builds a world within the world that's filled with magic. The forces of good and evil cross into the world we know as the four sisters have to claim and control their magic in order for the world to survive.

great read

I received this book for free for a honest review.  I loved the characters and storyline.  it flowed very well and held together.  The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life.  reccomend

fan fiction

the authors version of charmed, just changed main characters names from P to J besides that not to much differences from the amount I did listen to.

Original Charmed Reinvented

I’m a huge Original Charmed fan and I had high hopes for this new series. The names have been changed but the story is so similar... Instead of P’s, their names start with J. Three sisters find out they are witches as a fourth sister shows up from nowhere. I felt like the story was a bit to rushed and the characters were not as well developed as they should have been.

The narration was not as good as I had hoped. I could not tell who was speaking and the emotions and actions did not match some of the dialogue.

There is potential in this series but there was too much thrown in without much world building and character development. The dialogue was a bit superficial and they came across as winning or annoying. I did not connect with the characters.

I hope the next book will be more detailed and the dialogue more interesting and captivating.
