Publisher's summary

Late one evening in downtown Seattle, Mel Gray Eagle meets Jenny Mayor, a disarming and enthusiastic member of a bizarre new-millennium sub-culture. Jenny introduces him to a handful of her colorful friends, and he soon discovers shocking secrets about each one of them. Mel becomes involved in their wildly adventurous and fantastic plot that places him at the pivotal center of an extraterrestrial war that began before recorded history and promises the eventual enslavement of humanity unless they can modify the future. Earth as destiny is redefined through futuristic science, twists in time, spiritual revelation, earth-changes, magical wonders, nightmarish horror, terrifying events in late 1800 as Seattle, a magnificent machine that spans time and hyperspace, and the wisdom of an ancient Nez Perce hero.

Pleasant surprise

I reserved this as a shared copy . The central character is a Native American that interests me . I don’t read a lot of science fiction so I was glad I found this one . There is a lot character development , action and dramatic events . There is very interesting mixture of mythology and science . I was very surprised by action , adventure and twists . This book is very timely in 2020 the way it embrace cultural diversity like crazy ! It’s a very contemporary. It would make a really great movie !
Narrator changes voices all the time and it’s helps to understand and to easy listen and follow .
Music is mysterious and enjoyable to listen .
Great book! Recommended !

Amazing Story and Narration

Descending Circles Ascending Earth is a unique science fiction adventure with elements of the supernatural and the metaphysical. DCAE will give you pause to reflect on the true nature of time and reality and what it means when the lines are blurred between the two. Katrina Link’s narrative is dynamically energetic, capturing the distinct personalities of each of the colourful characters in the novel. Overall, DCAE the audiobook version, is a rollercoaster ride that you won’t soon forget!
