Die grünen Horden kommen nach Hephaesto, einer Fabrikwelt des Adeptus Mechanicus voller reizvollem Beutegut. Mit ihnen kommt der Ork Ufthak und er muss feststellen, dass die Welt bereits von dem berüchtigten Freibeuter Kapitän Badrukk belagert wird. Sein Anführer, Größta Mekboss, befiehlt eine temporäre Zusammenarbeit und so konzentriert sich Ufthak darauf, sich einen Namen zu machen, indem er die stärksten Verteidiger des Imperiums zerschmettert und die beste Beute beansprucht. Als eine bedrohliche neue Kriegsmaschine am Horizont auftaucht, Badrukk sich in seine eigenen Pläne verstrickt und Ufthak ein nerviger Grot in den Weg kommt, muss dieser die brutale Schläue des Orkgottes Mork aufbringen, wenn er überleben will.
