Just ok

This was an ok audio. I didn't really see the need for all the different narrators. Buyer beware Patricia " lip smacking, annoying spit sounds" Floyd is one of the narrators. Once I heard her I really didnt get into the book as I had anticipated. The ending seemed a bit abrupt. I wanted to see more development between Asha and Sherikas husband.

Entertaining

I like a book that keeps me wanting to "listen". I enjoyed this book and glad I bought it. The characters were easy to keep track of because of the multiple readers. My only complaint is that the at least one story line ended a little to neat in my opinion. But even with that I had a great time listening to the book.

Good Listen

I enjoyed the characters. I was kept engaged from beginning to end. It ended a little too neat, but that's why it's called fiction. All in all a good listen. I would definitely go back and listen to Anita Diggs' previous book.

I Was Surprised!

I started out reading this book with skepticism because I read another person’s review. I’m glad I finished the book! This book turned out to be a very good read. Why? Because it touched on unresolved mental health issues from childhood abuse, infidelity, how couples outgrow one another, over parenting, love and struggle. I’m going to take a listen to another book by this author! Thanks!

Crazy Story!

This was one crazy story (esp the chick in love with Denzel, lol) but it kept me listening, which makes a great read. If you're looking for something that you can't put down, this is the one to listen to...although I didn't particularly like the ending...needs a sequel.
