Publisher's Summary

A real hero knows how to rise to the occasion.

Dennis is a college student whose only luck with the ladies is ogling them from afar and picking up their misplaced bikini tops the morning after wild pool parties he never attends. After working late nights at Conan's Pizza, his overactive Frazetta-inspired imagination are all that get him through the day.

Dreams of slaying beasts to rescue babelicious women will soon be put to the test as his sudden gut-emptying illness turns out to be the side effects of desperate priestess magic from a world of savage-land hotties and nightmarish monsters.

With his newly bestowed herculean body and the aid, advice, and welcome attentions of his female companions, Dennis must learn the skills of a warrior, gain the heart of a champion, and fulfill the uniquely different desires of the women who choose to call him their man.

Facing deadly vagabonds, ravenous beasts, and mythical creatures, he does his best to survive the challenges of this new land and protect the women relying on him. But his hard work in college never prepared him for any of this, and especially not for the Dark One.

Hard Fence Riding

I'm not 100% behind this one. I like the concept and premise of it but don't care for the main character.

Highly Recommend you check this one out!!!

I enjoyed the book alot. The MC starts off and acts on a similar level to the MC from Mike Truk's "THE FIVE TRIALS". A loser not really understanding the seriousness of whats going on. Was still hooked in the first 16 minutes and the MC starts to get into being the hero everyone needs him to be. At parts I laughed, but never cried and I like that Conan (that would be the barbarian) is the MC's touchstone for how a hero acts. The story is a completed trilogy thats now getting the audio book treatment. If you can't wait like me to learn what happens next, you can pick up the complete ebook trilogy from Amazon for $6.99. I am on to the next part of Dennis' adventure.

So frustrating

The main character is the most frustrating person in audio book world. I get he has to act dumb to build a story but good lord it never ends. I am up to chapter 27 and he actively tries to talk himself out of every sexual encounter and that takes longer than actually event. There is no way this is a male fantasy book. Not to mention every time the narrator ends a word with an S he whistles so much it feels like it cuts through your head. I really thought my smoke alarms needed new batteries before I realized what was going on.
It's like author is shy to talk about sex or to afraid to offend anyone. The main story is ok and if Den didn't constantly step on his D it would be a lot better.

great story but crappy female narration

I am about 1/2 through the book and I love the story. and the male narrator was good but the female sounds so robotic almost like an AI is reading the lines. it really takes you out of the book. I hope the author finds a better female to read the lines or the current gets better at this.

Sword and Sorority series doesn't say it all

but it does give you a good idea.

This fun and sophomoric (wink wink) story, takes us from a college campus to a Conan the Barbarian type world.
Lots of sex and saving the damsels In distress from the bad guys and monsters.
If you are expecting the writing styles of Robert E. Howard or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle you're barking up the wrong genre tree. This book, and I'm assuming series, is for the teenage boy in all of us trying to get a peek at the older high-school cheerleaders in the showers.
I'm definitely looking forward to book 2.

Ok

Sex scenes are boring and lack luster tbh. It’s more or less tells you what happens rather then taking you through the event.

Light Hearted and Fun

Pretty descent follow up to the first one. A slightly different type of isekai story. The MC isnt a whiner or too OP which is nice. Christian and Hazel were solid as always. Worth the credit.

The listener has it tougher than the MC.

This is terrible: the author has the narrators to thank for any redeeming qualities in this narrative.

The MC is stuck in a plot that smacks of someone writing to a format, and not being very good at it.

The narrators are a well tried duo and work valiently through the script.

Do not waste your credit.
