Publisher's summary

From the number-one best-selling author Saxon Andrew comes the sixth book in the best-selling Annihilation series, Demon's Sacrifice.

The universal doorway into the Stars Realm has been destroyed, delaying future invasions by the Eight Legs. They are still very much a danger, and it is just a matter of time until their scientists find a way to return to the Realm. The Stars Realm and its new friends must find a means of stopping this enemy from future attacks and their continued destruction of intelligent life in other universes.

But now Destiny's child has uncovered another creature that makes the Eight Legs appear tame in comparison. Even the Eight Legs will die if this being turns its focus toward them. Nothing the Stars Realm has faced will measure up to the ancient evil of this new threat, and it is coming to the Realm. But first it will deal with the Eight Legs.

Great story, but very hard to hear

This author has a wonderful imagination, but his scientific background doesn't really exist. For example, events that occur in a Galaxy 100's of light years away are somehow visible as they occur, rather than hundreds of years after they occur. But that's not what really bothered me about this particular story. I'm quite happy to suspend belief in order to better enjoy as I listen. My problem was that it was so very difficult to hear the dialogue because the volume went up and down without any warning.

Same same

Same old plot, different names, yawn.

Let me guess how the next one goes. Lets face a seemingly unstoppable enemy. Then, with the help of really smart friends come up with a way to defeat them. But don't. They will then become your friends and help you fight the next unstoppable enemy. Rinse and repeat.

Liam, Please learn to use volume leveling

Sound quality is sub par. Having to turn up volume then down every couple minutes is a deal breaker. Narrator needs to learn about compression/limiter/leveling.
