Sets the wrong tone for me

Has what sounds like some good information, but I can't get over how it sounds so condescending towards employees. As if the person doing the managing somehow knows everything about the work and the employees know nothing. He actually talks about treating them like children on one case. That seems to be a common issue with management books. The managers/bosses are somehow better people than the employees.

kind of cheesy and out-dated

I listened to it all, but it wasn't easy. There were some decent, high-level points. But I found myself laughing more than rewinding or taking notes. After listening to books like '7 Habits' and 'First, Break all the Rules,' this book seemed like it was taking itself a bit to seriously. I'm sure the author and staff have done great work, and I did consider a few new approaches because of listening to this. But there are a few dozen management and leadership books I'd recommend over this one.

Lowerful insights

Very simple but powerful insights into delegating effectively. This book has material and concepts that are really easy to refer to over again.
