Publisher's summary

The Korean Peninsula saw some of the most savage fighting of the Third World War.

Several American units covered themselves in fame and glory during the campaign, while some Companies went into battle with a black mark against their names.

‘Culprit’ Company were troublemakers and misfits; outcast rebels with a reputation for ill-discipline and insubordination. But in the face of the enemy, they were the bravest of the brave.

For the new recruits joining ‘Culprit’ Company as the Army advanced through the mud and blood towards Kaesong city on the North Korean border, their initiation to the fury of warfare was a brutal trial-by-fire from which only the toughest soldiers could ever hope to survive.

Hold on for a wild fast moving story

Like previous books, a lot of action and details. You really need to focus or you will miss the details.

Another great book

I’m really enjoying nicks writing style. The performances are also very good. I am looking forward to finishing all these standalone series.

Over The Top But Entertaining

The performance is fine. The story line is typical of this author. Very over the top with gratuitous descriptions of blood and gore in the battle scenes. Doesn’t bother me but can be unrealistic at times. A common theme in this series is a villainous authority figure who is supposed to be on the allied side but degrades the main character the whole time. Allied side usually takes a whooping for a while but in the end comes out on top while the villain ends up looking foolish. Not bad not great. Will listen to more in the series as it’s entertaining enough.
