Summon Sleep

I am a licensed spiritual counselor. I teach classes on meditation and relaxation. I know what anxiety and stress can do and yet there are those times where I fall "prey" to those occasional bouts of stress and anxiety. Making yourself or forcing yourself to go to sleep creates even more stress.
I'll tell you a "little secret" that works wonders if I still can't seem to let go of the day and drift off. I listen to Chakra Guided Meditation's CD and then I'll just very calmly say to myself, "I don't need to go to sleep...I'm not tired...I could stay up forever...I'm not tired...I don't need to sleep...I could stay up forever..." and believe it or not, after a few minutes of saying these things I'm.....

Great nights sleep

I absolutely love this book. The first night I listened to it I fell fast asleep. The narrator's voice is amazingly calming. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone that suffers from insomnia like me.

Helps me fall asleep and stay asleep at night.

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and hear silent parts of the recording. there is probably some inauduble sound.I'm not found of the silence and have to restart a chapter of the recording to have some sound to fall asleep to. I use it when I feel like I will have a hard time sleeping and it works.

For Relaxing Sleep

I got some very relaxing sleep with this audiobook. I didn't think it would work for me because I've tried others like it and they were not able to get me to sleep. However, something about the narration by Allison Mason really did it for me this time.

This is perfect

I have had trouble sleeping evey since my second child went to college. I was taking a strong sleeping pill which my doctor finally said I could not take every night. I was beside myself wondering how I was going to go to sleep which only made things worse. After reading all the good reviews I thought "what do I have to loose". However I vowed not to write a review until I tried it for a month. I expected this to take days if not weeks to work. I have never made it through the tape. I have never been able to listen to the second part. Finally I started with the second part of the tape and have never made it through that. I put it on my ipod so that it automatically shuts off at the end - AND I DON'T WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT - I'M OUT!!! I never expected this to work so well. If you are having trouble sleeping please - give this a chance.

This book is revolutionary

I have been trying to review this set of CDs for a few days, but every time I turn it on I fall asleep!

As a psychotherapist trained in clinical hypnosis, I start out paying attention to the type of induction he is using, but am quickly drawn in and dozing before I can parse out what he's doing. Granted, it's the end of the day and I am sleepy, but this really does work like a charm. I will recommend it to all my patients.

The two CDs have five different options:

Easy Sleep
Sweet Dreams
Creative Sleep
Healing Sleep
Deep Sleep

It would be fun to use the creative sleep track for a month and see what it catalyzed.

Great book

Having found others' reviews so helpful in choosing something to help with insomnia (trouble both falling asleep and staying asleep accompanied by anxiety and depression - decades long, off and on), I did want to enthusiastically recommend this 2 cd set. I have not previously had much success with self-hypnosis, and I found this cd very easy to follow and for the first time in weeks, my mind was peaceful (this is a huge change) and I felt more rested, even though I still had interrupted sleep. There are 5 tracks, the last one being "Deep sleep" and the one most helpful.

Strange

This is the oddest thing I have ever listened to. It’s not a guided meditation or a story. It sounds like lots of random words against a back drop of water and towards the end it feels like you’re listening to a religious brainwashing. Glad it works for some but it definitely didn’t work for me!

Dope

I have yet to hear the end of this Cd. I don't know why but I am shortly asleep after listening to this Cd. Finally, I am getting some very healthy sleep. I hope it works for you.

The CD is organized much better

The CD is organized much better and transferred with the sections properly separated. One problem - the Deep Sleep, which is what I need the most, has several skips in it, which is certainly not conducive to relaxation for sleep. Otherwise, I like Adam Greco's voice and manner of speaking and have dozed off during the Deep Sleep.

This is a really great CD.

This is a really great CD. I occassionly have some issues falling asleep and this CD does the trick. It helps you "sort" your problems away and really relax.

Works miracle

A friend of mine told me about hypnotherapy, and it is not that you are being mysteriously hypnotized - you are just listening to him talk and relaxing, nothing mystic nor mysterious. I highly recommend this!! I have been a regular user of prescription sleeping pills, night caps, you name it, and nothing has worked as well for me as this CD. Wow, I am impressed, and I do feel like a new person, not dragging all the time.

It helps me sleep with ease many nights now. I just play it and dose off, not much else to say!!
