Engrossing read
I was captivated from page one on.
Unable to put down until early morning and then continued to listen until the end.

Her best ever!
I don’t know how Elizabeth George continues to come up with so many amazing, deep and confounding stories! This has it all, deceit, racism, chauvinism, power plays. I can’t recommend this enough.

This was a great novel for one reason. It was a Barbara Havers exclusive.
She is my favorite character in the series. I was hoping she might get the sack and become a PI in her own series.
Too bad.

no closure on Salah/Theo/gma/Rachel. very weird loose ends. I like Barbara best tho and would prefer she be the lead to all of these, so it was nice that this book was only about her.
