Best book for to do it yourself law..

I read/listen books to enter an alternate universe where I can forget about my regular life. I consider a book a success when that happens to me. It's been a long time since a book hasn't bored me. Worse than that, in today's market you never know if you are going to pay money for a book written by someone that has no idea how to write good English and grammar and doesn't know what an editor is for. Congratulations to Thomas Herold for screwing up the last two days of my life because I couldn't stop listening this audio book. For those of you who are tired of boring stories and bad grammar and English to understand key terms and phrases while going through the bankruptcy process, I would label this book your next decadent pleasure.

Excellent Book! A Must Have!

Thomas Herold's "Financial IQ Series, Book 11" is unique among debt books. It doesn't talk down to the listener. It talks about the health and psychological challenges of debt. And it provides concrete advice for how to deal with your challenges. While many other books offer form letters to write and platitudes about debt this book gets into the meat of the topic. And it helpfully talks about once you've solved your problems how to then use debt to your advantage. This is really an outstanding book!!

Must listen if this is your plan.

This book will answer all the questions you have and then some you have not thought of. Of course there is not substitute for a good attorney, but this book will certainly put you at ease. One point the book makes that I want to stress is, don't think of bk as a last resort, i.e. don't suffer for years only to end up doing it anyway. If bk is the best answer follow your heart, but this book also gives you alternatives worth exploring. My own bit of advise, don't try and do it yourself, and beware of the £500.00 guy, they rely on volume, and just wont put the effort into every case like a good council will. Good Luck!!

Great tips!

This is the first review I've ever written on banking related topics I've purchased. This audiobook was awesome! I could not afford an attorney to help with my debt and bankruptcy filing, so I was determined to look for resources and examples to do it myself. This book walked me step by step and I'm so appreciative. Anyone who can listen can do their own debt filing with this book.

Just what I am looking for

I actually ordered this for a good friend. She tells me that the book is fantastic. This book covers every single detail, and tells you exactly what you need to do, in the order to do it. Also, that it was extremely easy to understand. She says that anyone who is thinking about filing, needs to get this book. She is in the process of doing so now. I was really happy that I could send her something that would help.

If you are thinking about declaring bankruptcy

If I could recommend one book to start with for real estate investing, this would be it. While there is some overlap with the free Ultimate Beginner's Guide, this is a much better product. It contains tons of advice and points you to the right resources to learn more about the real estate market conditions in a particular geographic area. Respecting real estate guru will recommend this book, but I definitely would!

I wanted to give a close friend some heads up information about filing for bankruptcy before he sees an attorney. This book spells everything out very concisely. He really appreciated the points I was able to pass along to him.
