HOLY SHITBALLS THAT WAS GOOD!!!

The only thing I don't like about this book is that it had to end.

AMAZING IN EVERY WAY

This one is going into my favorites as one of the best!!! I was hooked from beginning to end with the plot and fascinated by the outstanding narrators. Well done, Ms. Jones, thank you!!!

Not a fan

The story was a little dramatic for me. I know I’m reading fiction but it was over the top in my opinion. I also didn’t enjoy the narration. SPOILER ALERT: it almost saved my rating a little bit when the ending seemed like it wasn’t going to be HEA, but then it was. I would have enjoyed that part that it was unpredictable.

An interesting story

This book left my feelings very confused! There were parts at both the beginning and end that I was really uncomfortable with, and I didn't live the epilogue. While the male narrator was a great narrator, the way that Tax's part was read at the beginning made him sound very disturbing and creepy. It may have made sense to the story but it intensified the discomfort mentioned above. All that being said, I do recommend the book if you like dark reads.

Didn't think I would love this book as much as I did. such a crazy ride but it was worth it.

A Dark friends to enemies to lover's tale

This is a dark friends to enemies to lover’s tale that starts out as classmates sharing homework assignment and becoming friends to failed communications, jocks and loners, and bigotry, all tied in with one family ruling the town and everyone in it until ultimately someone seeks revenge for all the wrong done to him especially his “wombmate” sister. Shakespeare didn’t corner the market on tragedy. No, the author Nina Jones took it to another level and the consequences of those tragedies cost a town and many lives before a resolution comes if one can ever can come to one successfully. While by no means a “Romeo and Juliett” there is such angst and desire between the two MC’s that one can’t help but to read on to see what happens and to whom.
Tax, a hard aggressive take it all man rampages into Mia’s life to exact revenge on her for something of which she was not even aware. Sometimes needs override what is considered safe and consensual as Mia hires an agency to take her beyond traditional consent. This action can twist those words and because of who performed that action, throughout the book there is that battle within. Then again following up with deadly revenge there is no consent requested from the victim. The scenes are well described and world building is relatable because of the midwestern nature of the locales.

This was an audiobook presentation and most often the narration was emotional and believable however all too often Rock Engle come off as a whiny sniveling kid rather than the strong built man that arose from the ashes of disaster to become the powerful, controlling, intelligent vigilante he was. I believe a calmer yet frustrating action would have kept me within the bounds of the book.

Consumed me

Tax and Mia’s story consumed me.
Sil and Jude’s story destroyed me.

The blend of past and present was perfectly seamed.
This story will haunt me. The ending was complete, yet I selfishly want more.

Definitely Dark and intense

This book was painful and yet shows the human capacity for forgiveness. Tax and his twin sister Judith vowed to make everyone who had a hand in their painful past pay. They systematically destroyed each person until they got to the catalyst, Mia, whose downfall was to be jewel in their crown.

But decimating Mia proved a lot tougher for Tax as he couldn’t fight his attraction to her. How could he get his pound of flesh and still have the Girl at the same time?

This book shows what can happen when people dedicate their life to revenge instead of finding forgiveness and dealing with the tragedy. I found Tax and Mia sexy and their chemistry to be super hot. It definitely made me cautious of “anonymous” anything. You just don’t know what’s out there. An interesting read.

This book was A-Fucking-Mazing!!!! If I could give this a higher rating I definitely would. This book had an amazing storyline, plot, build up of characters, twist, climax and ending.

Now how often do you find ALL of these qualities in a book.

Mia and Tax OMG!!!!

When I heard about this book I was like ummm ok Ill give it a try. Because so many people spoke so highly of it. And now I see why.

Tax and Jude are twins and have an absolute HORRIBLE upbringing that involves a series of tragic events which molds them into who they are today. Their story is heartbreaking. They have so much love for one another, that love is what keeps them moving forward in life.

Tax develops into one hell of a man who is the epitome of Man and Domination. (Sexy as hell) He gets things done. By any means necessary. He has dealt with every aspect of his past that has cause him or Jude any pain. And now its down to the last person.....MIA

Mia has had a pretty tough life also but no where near as tragic as Tax and Jude. They all went to school together when they were younger. And their worlds fell apart at the same time. Leading them down two separate pathways. Mia has a great job and is doing well but feels as though her life is missing something. (Spice). So she takes a little skeptical friendly advice and that is how Mia and Tax lives intertwine again.

I refuse to give away spoilers so lets just say that from the moment they meet again it is explosive. I MEAN EXPLOSIVE!!!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

OMG! Is all I could muster...I'm sitting here wondering why and how have I not heard of this book yet! WHOA!

First of all, this book is NOT for everyone. If you don't like dark and dirty side of "romance" I don't know if I will call this utter taking and well...other things romance but if you are not used to some crazy spice then please skip it.

The depravity of what this book is... OMG! This book will leave you questioning your sanity, like why did you love this book so much! I know some will even feel the need to go confess, I know I did, even though I can't tell you the last time I attended mass.

The book is wild, erotic, dirrrrrrty, reckless, thrilling, irresponsible dangerous and oh so very delicious.

It's better if you go in blindly but I'll give you a hint, it's about a girl named Mia. Mia works for a sex company that provides women with personal pleasures. Mia is supposedly a good girl but has a rape fantasy and some really crazy likes that she wants in real life but is also hesitant because, she's a good girl(insert eye roll) Well, her best friend Tiff finds out how one could safely fulfill the fantasy, tries and gushes all about it...so she gathers courage to try as well and that's when she meets her "attacker" Tax Dracconi! WHOA! Nothing could have prepared her for this handsome of a man...Tax was nasty and everything she needed and more...she was not fully prepared by all of it...

You just have to listen/read for yourself...

Worth a credit? you betcha cute behind it is! I'll repeat, this is ONLY worth it IF you like the darker side of erotica, like you've been warned,,, there are so many triggers...so don't get in and then regret and then complain while giving the book 2 stars or dumb stuff like that, not everything is for everyone.. this book is AMAZING!!!
