Publisher's summary

Soon to be a major motion picture sequel to Murder on the Orient Express with a screenplay by Michael Green, directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh alongside Gal Gadot - coming February 11, 2022!

Beloved detective Hercule Poirot embarks on a journey to Egypt in one of Agatha Christie’s most famous mysteries.

The tranquility of a luxury cruise along the Nile was shattered by the discovery that Linnet Ridgeway had been shot through the head. She was young, stylish, and beautiful. A girl who had everything...until she lost her life.

Hercule Poirot recalled an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: “I’d like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger.” Yet under the searing heat of the Egyptian sun, nothing is ever quite what it seems.

A sweeping mystery of love, jealousy, and betrayal, Death on the Nile is one of Christie’s most legendary and timeless works.

Death on the Nile is perfect.” (The Guardian)

“One of her best.... First rate entertainment.” (Kirkus Reviews)

Wonderful

From start to finish so this book held me spellbound. Kenneth Branagh shines as the narrator and could not be outdone. I could not recommend this book enough.

Wonderful Narration!!

Same great story we all know but really brought to life through the brilliance of Kenneth Branagh!!
Couldn't stop listening! His skill of keeping all the different characters completely separate was amazing! You may think it's just an old mystery and nothing new but I challenge you to think that after you listen! Very well done!!

Best Christie Yet

I love the BBC full cast and of course Hugh Frazier is wonderful, but this is Kenneth Branagh. I hope he reads more of these. Amazing.

My First Agatha Book

This was my first Agatha Christie book. Very enjoyable. Really enjoyed the performance by Kenneth Branagh too.

entertaining as always

Agatha Christie never disappoints. The performance was mildly marred by the accents employed, but they did help clarify who is speaking in any point.

Loved

Loved the story and the narrator. At times hard to follow all the characters but enjoyed putting little frey cells to work.

Fantastic rendition of Christie’s classic work.

I had the chance to listen to two versions of this work on Audible. The first one was pretty bad, very hard to follow with the narrator trying too hard. Stopped that version and began listening to this one; excellent narration and able to keep one completely engrossed in the story and drama. Looking forward to more Christie novels on Audible!
