Can't get enough

When you find a book that you don't want to put down or a story that you can't stop listening to it only means that you've got a great book and great narration. Then make that into a series and you've got GOLD! Excellent book

Awesome

Another great installment of the Arisen series. Get me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I only with the book was longer. Keep them coming, but almost $30 for the book seams steap to me. Regardless, great book.

Again, Bravo Zulu

Any additional comments?

THE best zombie/military series out there, bar none, and I believe I've read most of them. Unlike other books in this genre, these authors aren't afraid to make the zombie hordes as dangerous as they should be, the guts as gory as they would be, and the characters as shell shocked as could be expected. On the zombie side it stays scary yet (near)believable, and on the military side they capture one thing that other authors can not: as one SEAL who was consulting for Hollywood said "Our combat is faster and more violent than can be filmed"(para).. these guys actually begin to capture the 'finesse, flare, and smiling contempt of danger' that special operators see as normal everyday business. The military side of these novels would shine even if the enemy wasn't zombies, the zombie side would shine even if the military side didn't absolutely foxtrot rock(and it does!)

This actually keeps getting better and better...

Whoever made the decision to employ R.C. Bray to read this book, should be awarded a medal and given a huge bonus. In any military, distopian or post-apocalyptic fiction, there is simply no better narrator than R.C. Bray. And the story, it not only keeps its level and pace, but sometimes it even gets better than previous parts. Being 7 books into the series, I already dread the moment when I reach its end.

In short, you won't regret it, though I definitely recommend to read / listen to these books in the original order, so start with Fortress Britain and continue onwards. You will not be disappointed.
