An African Hunting Classic

This is one of the greatest books on hunting in Africa from a talented hunter and author. In it, Capstick lists his adventures with the Big Five and some of the other famous animals of Africa.

One of my all time favorites!!!

I read this book 40 years ago, and my children enjoyed my reading them their favorite chapters again and again.
Capstick has a wonderful writing style and a wealth of experience which combine to give the reader a “you are there” experience. He has written a number of fine books and this one is perhaps my favorite. I can’t say enough how happy I am to see his wonderful books finally in the audio format.

Read this book several times love it more every time I read it! All of Capsticks books are great.

I love all three of Capsticks “Death in the…” books and I have since I was a kid. I’ve read all three several times and now I get to listen to them!
